Lovely small hotel, with very welcoming staff. Palermo is a wonderful area of the city to wander around and Jim provided us with plenty of suggestions for good places to eat. We also had an enjoyable evening sampling wines with an eclectic group of guests!

Time Out reviews the wine bar as a good place to sample wines by the glass, and for its tapas, so we sought it out specially. In fact, it only had the usual choice of a few wines by the glass, and the bar-tender's knowledge seemed to be at the level of 'it's a good wine'. 'Tapas' were limited to empanadas or cold meats (which we gave up on since they were clearly not going to appear in time to nibble with our wines). Nothing wrong with that if you are staying, and just want a drink, with a nice courtyard (although staff are a bit too expat dominated for my taste), but there are plenty of better options in the neighbourhood. At 45 pesos per glass, it's about 50% more expensive than bars outside.

This hotel was a great place to stay in Buenos Aires. The staff was really wonderful. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Before we even arrived they were instrumental in helping to arrange for dinner reservations and transportation, which was particularly critical as we were there over the Christmas holiday. My only one slight complaint was that the air conditioning in the room was not quite as powerful as my husband and I had hoped given the extreme heat in Buenos Aires at the time of our stay. Finally, my one regret was not taking advantage of the wine tasting experience, which seemed truly wonderful. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to any of my friends.

We loved our stay at Miravida Soho, thanks to the outstanding service, the convenient location, and the people there who made us feel special and welcome. I hope that we are able to return to Buenos Aires and Miravida Soho. We're grateful to previous reviewers on Trip Advisor who steered us to this little gem.

I would like to reiterate all the positive reviews that this little hotel (just 6 rooms) has received, as they are fully deserved.
Very friendly people, great little bar (with an excellent range of wines on offer, it's their speciality really) and eating area, stylish and comfortable rooms and perfectly located within the Palermo district.
The breakfast was very nice (we liked the granola, fruit and yoghurt especially) and the chat from all the staff was friendly and very homely.
We would recommend a couple of things :
- ask for a room that is NOT street facing, as it is a little noisy
- don't expect too much wardrobe space - there isn't much !
- do the wine tasting event with Christie, as it is excellent and she is a very knowledgeable and fun sommelier (check with the hotel in advance)
- do sit around in the bar area and chat to the staff and other guests, it's very social that way
- do take the short walk to THE best burger place you will find in South America, it is called The Burger Joint (look it up or check my review)
- take some time to walk through the nearby streets around Plaza Armenia with all the cafés and eateries and boutique shops.

If you prefer something different and a bit more personal than the larger hotels, then we could not recommend this little hotel enough, it is excellent and fully meets the expectations of the words "Boutique Hotel".

Well done to all the staff team and thank you for looking after my wife and I on our short stay.

Can't let the year end without writing a review about this hotel. We were here in July and it remains one of our best hotel experiences. Frauke and her staff were very helpful with dining and travel suggestions, making reservations, etc. Breakfast offered a variety of choices and was always delicious. It was well located and within walking distance of the SUBTE and great restaurants. BA was easy to get around in with public transportation.

Great boutique hotel with personal service. The day we got there, we were actually greeted by the owner, Frauke. They were very helpful in making reservations for us. They had a wine tasting one night while we were there. If timing works out, I highly suggest you participate. It is $40 per person, and includes 4-5 wines. Snacks are also served, and the sommelier also talks about how to pair the wines, and demonstrates what does and doesn't work. We learned several things about Argentine culture from Felipe, and he even shared his matte with us. We very much felt at home. In terms of location, it is walkable to many restaurants and bars (including Don Julio and La Cabrera). For cabs, make sure to give them the cross street of the hotel because it is located on a small street (and one that can be tough to pronounce). It is very easy though. I contacted the hotel via email to make the reservation and paid via Paypal. Upon check out, they sent me a PayPal invoice for what I spent while at the hotel. Very easy, no hassle process. I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to going back.
