“A well kept secret (which I am now exposing)”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2014

This is by far the best value steak restaurant in Buenos Aires.
The food is unbelievable, the prices are great and the overall experience made me visit this restaurant 8 out of the 10 nights I've stayed in BA.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE if you are a meat lover.
Order the Bife de Lomo and share it with someone because it is Hugh.

Worth coming back to BA just for their steaks.

“Go for the empanadas.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2014

The empanadas were the highlight of this meal. The meals we had were just ok. The steak was nothing impressive. The quesadilla was very good if you are craving that. Found nothing like it around. But truly. The empanadas were the highlight. The dough was incredible and the fillings fantastic. It's a great place to come for beer and empanadas. I would skip coming for a whole meal.

“Delicious steak!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2013

The restaurant is homely and simple. No need to dress up. The upstairs area is open, like a half-covered terrace. It gets a bit hot in summer, especially near the grill.

The food is delicious! I had a very tender and tasty fillet steak. Great meat and cooked nice and juicy. My fiancee had a pastel (similar to a cottage pie) with minced beef, pumpkin and cheese. Also delicious. The house wine (Shiraz/Malbec) was also delicious and cheap.

Service was very friendly and helpful.

Dinner is served late in Argentina, so either go very late (after 10:30pm) or early (around 8pm), as the place gets busy.

“My favourite restaurant in Buenos Aires”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013 via mobile

By far the best restaurant I went to in buenos aires. Fun atmosphere, great meat and fantastic value.
The place is loud and always busy so be prepared to queue. It is worth it though. You can draw on the table cloths and find yourself chatting to other tables most the night.
The parillada is always recommended - big platter of all different cuts of meat, served with chimichurri and never needing condiments.
Wine is great and you can spend hours eating, chatting and enjoying the atmosphere. Definitely go!
