You must book ahead here and turn up on time or your table will be gone even if you are 5 minutes late. Long lines waiting for tables even at 11 pm. Join the locals and tourists in a quiet part of town back road. make sure your taxi knows where this place is or leave time to get here.

Owner supplies free glass of wine as you get in, nice touch. Good menus, usual excellent steaks but also chicken, pasta salads etc. excellent wine lists. Check the size of the portions as we split the ribs easy enough for 2 . Good value if you do this. Pay by cash for the best prices especially dollars .

Good atmosphere as it is so busy, but you can wait for your food and drinks as it really is so busy and there seemed to be a shortage of staff. Also there are many rooms, some large and some small, so ask to be in the front room, or sit on the street it's fun.

Well worth a visit.

Luckily our Concierge booked us a table in advance because when we arrived at 21:00 there was a line of people waiting to get a table! The interior was rustic and vibrant and we were probably the only foreigners there. The steaks were fabulous and the service friendly and efficient. A restaurant not to be missed!

We had 3 nights in Buenos Aires and ate here twice - that says it all really in such a fantastic city with so many good options of places to eat. The best steak I have ever tasted, amazing portion sizes and great quality food and wine. The staff were superb and so accommodating but definitely try and learn at least basic Spanish before you go, you'll definitely find it useful. The best parrilla in Buenos Aires from experience and local reviews as well, if you come to the city and don't visit then you've missed out!

My husband and I had lunch here on the day before we left BsAs. It was undoubtedly the best meal and best value of our whole 10 days. That's not to say it was cheap - but the price/ quality/ quantity/ service ratios were excellent. We had a provoleta and kidneys Don Julio to start, a marvelous T-bone, medio lomo and chips plus a superb bottle of red (LaMadrid Malbec) and 2 coffees for about A$750. Our waiter, Gabriel, was excellent too: attentive, polite and with enough English to cope with foreigners if they didn't speak Spanish.
The restaurant itself is very attractive, both inside and at the tables outside under the awnings.
Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Three of us sampled the empanadas, 3 grilled meats, 2 salads and 3 desserts (and a Malbec of course) and all of it was excellent. Luckily our hotel warned us to go early so that we could get a table. It was a beautiful evening and we got a sidewalk table and watched the smartly dressed couples begin to arrive until there was a long line. Fun and delicious evening.
