If you're looking for fake design and tacky 70's decoration, you're served at this flat, as I would never call it a hotel. The front desk personal are very unfriendly, they could not help me and my familly with reservations at restaurants what so ever, happilly I speak a little spanish so I did all the reservations by myself. Its overpriced, the breakfast is poor and done with cheap products. The spa is a joke. I would not recomend it.

Dear Ms.Nina,

We are surprised about your review. We are very interested to know under which name did you stay with us to make a research and investigation about your whole stay because our front sevice is very personalized and friendly. As you can read in other reviews, most of them are excellent.... I await your response with the dates and name you stayed with us and give you a complete and profesional answer about this terrible review.

Kind Regards,

Milton Goncalves

If you are looking for a trendy hotel in the heart of Palermo, with spacious rooms, cool design and extremely good customer service, Hotel Vitrum is the best option as of date. It is a bit more pricy than other hotels in the area, but without doubt worth the extra pesos.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, Palermo is a busy area all night.

Located in Palermo Hollywood, Hotel Vitrum is just a few short steps away from several great bars and restaurants and just a few blocks away from Palermo's trendy shopping district.

The service was fantastic: prompt, friendly, and helpful. Umbrellas were made available when it rained, housekeeping did a great job keeping things clean (and delivering treats), and the wait staff at breakfast made sure that everything was available. Throughout the three nights I stayed at Hotel Vitrum, I was made to feel comfortable and welcome.

Rooms are well designed (the Junior Suite was a great choice) with adequate space and comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean and having a Nespresso machine available for use was a nice touch. The only thing missing was an iPod/iPhone dock which would have been nice for charging and listening to music but truthfully, even this wasn't missed much.

The hotel also features a great little sauna on the top floor, and unlike other hotels I've frequented, it actually provides ample heat (although you may need to turn it up from the 55º C they set it to).

With such a large choice of design/boutique hotels in Buenos Aires, I was afraid that I might have made a mistake in picking one relatively far down on TripAdvisor's list but truth be told, walking past a few of the other hotels ranked higher (i.e. Glu, Mine, etc.), I'm very happy to have selected Hotel Vitrum due to it's location and overall aesthetic appeal.

This hotel was more pricey than any of the other places we stayed at in Argentina but we undoubtedly got what we paid for!

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning after an overnight bus trip, hoping to be able to drop off our bags until the 3pm check in. The staff were brilliant, showing us to the Spa, where we dropped our luggage in a locker and we could help ourselves to a much needed shower, towel and robe and the morning unwinding in the spa facilities.

Our room was fantastic, with all the facilities you could ask for (coffee machine, DVD player, flat screen TV, underfloor heating in the bathroom) and the biggest bed, I've ever seen! Breakfast was very nice too.

The hotel is close to lots of great restaurants / bars and easy walking distance from the shopping district. Staff were very helpful in providing directions and recommendations for the local area. Reception was also able to book a car for us to the airport at a reasonable price.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay, worth the price for a bit of luxury at the end of our holiday!

The hotel is very nice and clean, great style, furnishings and decor located in Palermo Hollywood. There is nothing really remarkable about the street where the hotel is located but it's within walking distance of really great restaurants where mostly locals go for late dinners. Also it's only a short walk from Palermo SoHo where some of the best shopping is, and where you can go and just hang out at a cafe and watch the world go by.

What made all the difference in the world was the staff, especially Natalia. She was always ready with advice and recommendations, and she more than once even left notes in our room confirming reservations and/or with directions on how to get somewhere. Thanks to Natalia our trip went from great to fantastic.

The hotel can even arrange for a card and driver to pick you up at the airport and also take you back at the end of your trip - and they can put it all on your tab.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3, it was very nice, but NOISY!

We stayed here for 4 nights having been let down at the last minute by the nearby Nuss.(The Nuss had our booking for several months but felt it was more important to let people ,whose plane was cancelled a few days earlier, remain in our booked room for a few extra days- Fairly unprofessional I feel, although presumably of commercial benefit to them!)
We were made to feel very welcome and the front desk staff were fantastic at making recommendations for eating and places to visit.
The room we had was a junior suite and was a good size for a family with one child.
Location in Palermo is good if you want less noise and better restaurants.
Could not recommend highly enough.

This is a quality place to stay in the trendy Palermo area of Buenos Aires, near to top restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms we had was excellent and spacious. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful - in fact they sorted out some dinner reservations for when we were not staying at the hotel! The hotel has a great bar / restaurant downstairs as well.
