Don't go here - dirty hotel with BUGS in the bathroom. Broken door lock and furniture, stained sheets filled with holes. Dirty lobby and corrdiors. Cannot be recommended even to the poorest budget traveller.

We had the misfortune of staying at Lynns when the hotel we booked had made a mistake and had let our room to someone else!! So they send us to lynns!!!
Well, on the positive the bed was quite comfy so we did sleep (maybe cos we were exhausted after 28 hours traveling!), and the location is good in Palermo. Some of the staff were friendly....BUT that's all the positives. Room was really run down looking, cracks in the floor, needed a deep clean and redecorate to say the least. Nowhere to hang clothes!! Nowhere even to put our cases apart from on the bed .... just no room. Generally felt very grubby, run down, and cramped. We were told we would get a larger more comfortable room the next day, so we decided to stay rather than have to look for another hotel late at night. Next morning were told the room we were to move to would not be ready til later - so we went out for morning. Afternoon we came back and were told we could not have the larger room after all!! ( I wonder if there ever was a larger room) . As we were leaving next day we just couldnt face looking for another place so decided to stay....
Breakfast was acceptable the first day - tho not much of it. Second day no juice - were told they had not got any....so bread and coffee and tiny dish of preserves.... poor show.

There are much nicer hotels and cheaper in the area - so DONT GO TO LYNNS!

Room Tip: go to a different hotel!

Where to start: positives. The people are nice. And it's location in Palermo is great for the night life. Of course that night life goes on to six am at weekends, so be warned.

As for the rest. Firstly It needs a damn good clean from top to bottom, rather than the daily sweep it seems to get. And it could do with a lot of small maintenance jobs, things like new sealant under the shower screen and around the sink tap, a look at the toilet cistern, trying to track down the dreadful smell in the bathroom, fixing the shower unit to the wall properly, the front door that bangs, the sinking sofa in lobby, the badly scratched floors. It's shabby.

At very first glance the place looks as is if it might be OK: somebody has an eye for the design but certainly not the finish. It was done on the cheap and it shows. It's all superficial; looks good in the photos, presumably taken just after refurbishment, but awful in real life.

The essential thing you look for in a hotel is some thought having gone into the guest's comfort and convenience: why would I want to be uncomfortable and inconvenienced? So thanks for the king size bed: why not put a king size bedsheet on it, instead of what could quite possibly be a single bed sheet that ruches up under you at night? Two major omissions: first, a wardrobe or even a hanging rail (I had to buy coathangers to be able to hang my clothes on the door); second, a full length mirror. Some pictures to break up the bare walls of the bedroom might have been a good idea.

Breakfast is worth mentioning. Medialunes (croissants, really), bread, cream cheese, jam and dulce de leche, fresh orange juice and coffee. Fine as far as it goes, but that's all there is, the same every morning, not even a change of jam flavour. And the staff have a thing or two to learn about food service, not least making sure they bring a clean table mat and a plate.

'Boutique' hotel implies somewhere small but impeccably run. Small this is, but is probably the worst hotel for the price I have ever stayed in.

Room Tip: Go to another hotel...

Description, photos, reviews... everything about this hotel is misleading. It is rather a hostel with it's own bathroom than a boutique hotel. It is very worn-out, dirty, walls are full of mold and doors were greasy. Please take a look at my photos before make a booking. Location is excellent, but there are many other options that you can choose in Palermo Soho. Owners should really do some serious renovation ASAP.

There are better hotels for the same price. The room looks OK but the shower didn´t work. You have to ask for toilet pape. The toilets weren´t totally ok. There was no door between the bathroom and the wardrobe. The door to the room couldn´t be shut without locking it. The wi-fi access did not work. The traffic was disturbing because of the quality of windows. It was more like a hostel than a hotel. The cleaning was not OK. The breakfast was poor. The staff was friendly but only one of them spoke a bit of English. 121 US $ is too much for the standard.

Very good, it's like your own home. The owners, managers and everyone in the hotel serve you like your friends. I recommend this hotel to my friends ever when someone asks me to stay in Buenos Aires. The location is excellent. For me, this hotel in a cost-benefit analysis is best placed in the best tourist area of Buenos Aires.

We spend the last few days of our holiday in hotel Lynns, in an attrative part in Palermo, near some very nice restaurants and shops. The bed was great, the bathroom modern, but most of all: the staff was so friendly, helpfull and relaxed, that it felt we left some new friends behind.
