We chose this hotel for a long weekend based on TA and booking.com reviews.
Staff/service: very good, eager, friendly and accommodating
Location: So so, there's a metro stop 150m from the hotel, but otherwise (especially at night) you'll have to take taxis to go places. We did not see any minimarkets in the area and there is no big selection of restaurants nearby
Room: Spacious, high ceilings and clean, but soundproofing (although very good considering the outside noise) in those rooms facing 9 de Julio is not 100% - you will hear traffic. The much commented bed in our case was broken and we did not bother having it fixed on our night of arrival, assuming we would only have been handled at 3am.
Bathroom: Nice, but the shower cabin in our case had a construction problem, for water would flow outside the cabin. Also, the towels were very worn, which made a somewhat shabby impression.
Breakfast: OK, but nothing to write home about
So, unless you have commitments nearby, there are definitely better places to stay for this priceMore
