Terrible sound system, head phones didn't work, schedule was terrible. We got stuck in La Boca area for over 20 minutes. Several busses lined up but nothing moving. One driver refused to let people get on when there was plenty of room. The audio wasn't consistent with where you were. Save your money on this and take a city tour with a guide.

I really enjoyed the Hop on Hop off Bus tour in Buenos Aires. It was a very good option for a very quick stay in Buenos Aires. It covers the most important attractions in the city. Passing in safe places that you can stay at any moment. The audio guide is very good as well. Covering many language options. It's a little pricey but worth it.

Having just returned from a few days in Buenos Aries, following a trip to Antartica. I felt I must write to complain about the Yellow Bus tours there.
Buenos Airies itself is a lovely city and very walkable if you are fit. However on our last day it was raining and so decided to do a Yellow bus tour to San Telmlo district and La Bocca area. We were an hour in San Telmo and then on to La Bocca. As we got off the bus we were informed that the next would be in 40min as they were having a break, also asked if the bus went from where it dropped us off- it did.. Not a problem as we were going to have lunch there. It was 14.45 and waited for the bus. My friend checked in the art museum that the buses went from where we were waiting - it did. One and a quarter hours later we got a taxi back to the bus terminal- with the help of a very kind man in the art museum. We complained and were told that we couldnt read a bus timetable!! Then were told that the busses stopped running there as there was a football match on and that we had been told about it- not the same lady that sold us the tickets! We asked for a refund as we had only used 2 stops and had had to get a taxi back. It was refused, though we did get one ticket refunded as she resold it.
The Yellow bus prices are expensive £20 for a day- it probabley would have been better to get a taxi, and if it hadnt been raining we would have walked.
I also agree with the reviews about the audio
Would NOT recommend them

Only had 1 day in BA so we took our chances on this bus despite reviews. No problems with sound but an increase in volume would be nice. Biggest problem is the ticketing system. Website is out of date so we were sold tickets costing 220 pesos then when you get on the bus, you have to change this ticket for another one to get headphones. They also need to get the sound system to match the bus location. At times, the sound system would start telling you about something and then 100m later (which could be two minutes later) , you would actually see what they were talking about. As we just wanted to overall look at the city it seemed to be fine bunt could be improved.

Poorly run. Headphones were provided but had awful repeated music and then announcements did not come when we were passing a site.

Very slow tour that could have been done in half the time.

Great views of the city which was fun and informative.

Should take dollars/credit cards at the bus and at their ticket offices.
