“Smack dab in the middle.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2013

This clean and tidy hotel offers good sized rooms, off the rear courtyard garden area you get a window you can open for fresh air,, the bathrooms are what should be expected from a three star hotel, the desk guys have been super friendly and we could walk around the busy city blocks to get our bearings , watch the street scape and feel relaxed.
the sheets are cotton, the wifi is a bit iffy but works great in the lobby therby forcing one to be a little more sociable, lots of cake shops , stacks of good food, a money changer or three on every corner, opera and underground nearby,

Room Tip: Do not organise a cab inside the bus terminal they rip you off big time.

Spent 4 nights here before heading of to Iguazu, and a further 4 on our return - the hotel allowed to keep most of our luggage with them whilst we were away which helped with the travelling. Rooms are modern, air conditioned and have comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Breakfast is adequate and is constantly replenished. Only concern is security - room 306 has private balcony - room 202 is shared with the whole level. Patio doors to the balconies do not lock, and whilst the hotel will tell you that some guests like to go out for a smoke, it will take a maintenance man to fix the doors with tools if you want to be totally secure - but there has been no incidents in the years that the receptionist has worked there! The request to have the door secured was noted, but nothing happened. Room safes are available, and if you are concerned about personal safety request a high lever floor 4 and above. Overall a great location to be at with easy reach to the Plaza de Mayor, the main shopping area of Ave Florida and other attractions.

After a fiasco with my original hotel booking, I made a super last-minute booking for this hotel via a 3rd-party booking website, just 30 minutes prior to showing up at the front desk. Being that the booking was so last-minute, it had not been processed through the systems, and the front desk clerk was unable to validate it. However, he was extremely professional in every way to try to help us. The hotel was at full capacity, but he went the extra way to try to accommodate us. He was able to shuffle things around and provide a room for us. The hotel itself is fairly new and modern, great location, with a view of the Obelisk, clean and comfortable room. The breakfast spread was one of the better ones after staying at 4 other hotels in Argentina. Good experience.

Stayed here for our last night of a 5 week trip. The room was comfortable and modern for a reasonable price (particularly compared to more some more budget options we had previously stayed at).
The location is excellent, right in the central area of the city.
The room is not that big so if you are staying for a few nights you might like to choose something a bit bigger (we stayed in a B& B for our other 4 nights in BA). That said the room was perfect for the one night we had- close to shops and restaurants so we didnt have far to walk, and a comfy bed for a good nights sleep before a super early flight.

The main irritation was that the hotel provided only quilt covers which proved to be too hot. There were no blankets in the cupboards to provide an alternative.

We removed the inner quilt and slept under the quilt cover. However this made for a broken nights sleep.

A one quilt policy does not meet the needs of all guests.

Breakfast was acceptable. Nothing fancy.

Room Tip: Request blankets for bed covers.

If you're looking for a practical place to spend a few nights and not looking for a luxurious and pampering experience, its a preferable choice. We stayed here 3 nights at the end of our Argentina trip. The location is very good, right in the center, which is very comfortable. The staff is ok, with the exception of Sebastian from  the front desk that was a lot more - so nice and helpful! the room was good, not specious but not to crowded either, yet the shower is quite specious. The breakfast is good, quite varied relatively to the standard in Buenos Aires, and anyway fresh and of good quality. The hotel in general is new, and if you don't mind the fact there is no lobby, no proper Spa and pool, and some cleaning faults in the corridors, its a good value for money.

perfect location, spacious rooms. there was a gym available in the hotel, but we were always too tired (or lazy) to go there:-)
staff was ok, but honestly - they could be a bit more friendly. when they talk to you it feels like they have far more important tasks to take care of.
anyway, location compensated everything:-)
