A grat place, with a very healpeful staff, a good service, realy beautiful room's and the best location to enjoy nightlife. Very romantic atmosphere and very quiet room's, no noise at all.
The breakfeast has a different service, where you aks from menu what you want, it was more difficuklt in begining but work well and avoid waste.

Room Tip: Take care with the season and the weather of BA, one of the most beautiful room's has a jacuzzi...

I just finished a three night stay at Rendez Vous in Sept 2013. This place is a gem with great service.

Fredric, the owner, and Adaline, the manager, are wonderful people. They are so welcoming! Fredric, who is from France, opened this hotel three years ago after rennovating an old house. The place is modern and each room is decorated specially.

The location is in an up and coming, trendy and very safe area of Buenos Aires called Palermo Hollywood. There are so many great restaurants and bars on the street and all close by. There is a grocery store a few blocks away and a pharmacy on the next block. There is a good bakery on the corner. I even found a vegetarian restaurant around the corner. If you stay here, you will get the feel of what it is like to live in Buenos Aires.

During my first visit to Buenos Aires, I stayed in Puerto Madero which is a new area of Buenos Aires close to the centro. What is good about staying closer to the centro is that the main sights are in walking distance. Rendez Vous is a 25 minutes subway (subte) ride to the centro. The subway is really easy to take and only cost 2.50 peso each trip. You just go up to the ticket window and teil the person how many rides you want. Athough the subway is easy, it is a subway and very crowded. The walk from the hotel to the subway is 10 blocks or 20-25 minutes. So I might suggest if you are staying in Buenos Aires for many days, to stay close to the centro for a few nights to see the sights and then move to Rendez Vous to enjoy the neighborhood.

Even though I stayed at the hotel, I easily visited El Teatro Colon, Plaza de Mayo, Florida Street and walked in Recoleta in one day by basing at the Rendez Vous. It took some walking though!

Other tips, I took their transport to and from the airport which was very easy. I arranged the first trip by internet. Ask the hotel if they will give you a discount if you pay with USDs. The Argentinian money is devaluing and many places will give you a discount to pay in USDs. The rooms facing the street are a bit loud so I would ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.

Fredric, a suggestion I forgot to tell you is to add BBC or CNN international to your TV line up if you can.

Thank you Fredric and Adaline! I had a GREAT time!

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the street

Stayed for three nights at the end of August 2013. Frederic (the Owner) is a delightful person. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Each morning before we left he gave us great recommendations on what to see, routing etc for the District we were visiting. For example we told him we wanted to go to San Telmo. Frederic says you should take the subway (out the door, turn left, walk 10 blocks to the station....) to Catedral Station. Walk down Ave de Mayo to Cafe Tortoni (great place!) for coffee. Then go to Defensa Ave and walk to Plaza Dorrego. Take a cab from Plaza Dorrego to Caminito in La Boca. Then take a cab to Puente Mujer, walk along .......

You get the idea. We followed his suggestions and had a wonderful day. All of the staff were very helpful. When we returned each they would ask about our day, etc. We felt like we were staying with friends.

Excellent breakfast included. They have nice little dining area in the lobby. Our room was on the corner ("superior room"?) with large picture windows on two walls overlooking the street. Lots of nice light during the day. Closing the black out drapes made the room very dark even during the day (great for sleeping in). The room was very quiet and clean. Nice quality sheets. Good shower (large shower head and a hand held shower head as well). Nice sundeck on the top floor.

This boutique hotel was excellent, rooms are well decorated and individual, great location in Palermo. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, keen to give tips and directions about the best places to go and things to see. Breakfast has a good range of bread, cereal, fruit and eggs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Buenos Aires!

Excellent location, spotlessly clean with attention to detail on décor and design. Reliable wireless and hot water. Rooftop patio a nice place to unwind. Minimum of Espanol, Francais and English spoken. Frédéric is a fantastic host and made our stay most enjoyable. Do not hesitate to book your stay at the Rendez-Vous.
