We're a young family with a 2.5 year old. We decided to book the private tour to be at our own pace. We booked the trip a week before visiting BA. The response from the team was immediate. We've had tons of questions and ideas to be as efficient as possible and cover as much ground. The BT team was a great help from the start. The pricing is the BEST we've seen.

Richard was our guide. The was the most skilled, kind, accommodating and patient guide we'd hope for. Amazing vibe and energy. This dude knows it all! He paints stories and makes you visualize the setting as if it was back in times.

To accommodate running around with a carriage in the city with a 2.5 year old who finds no interest in buildings and plazas is a mission and them some. We've covered more then we've had on our TO DO list. He stopped when we had to, we took breaks and re-routed when time called for naps and yet we've left the day overwhelmed with scenery and knowledge, and enriched with culture. He took us to spots we wouldn't have otherwise found.

Hiring Richard was the best idea to cover BA in just few days. I highly recommend him.

Communication with Buenos Tours was excellent and made the whole process of booking our tours so easy. But it was Ceri, our guide for two tours, who was the star. I cannot praise him highly enough. His exuberance and knowledge of the city were extraordinary. Everywhere we went he seemed to know someone - the Belgian man in the courtyard, the waiter in the cafe/bar, the lady in the foyer of the Palacio Barolo, the concierge in another building. He even asked if we minded that he spoke to the taxi drivers in Spanish and naturally found out that they both had relatives in Australia. We stopped at a lovely cafe for coffee and cakes. We had lunch in a small restaurant where it appeared we were the only tourists. We popped into buildings along the way to admire the architecture. What tourist would think that a supermarket, hidden along a small passageway, could be so interesting? And all of this with a wicked sense of humour and lots of corny jokes. We came away extremely satisfied and feeling that we had seen the real Buenos Aires. If Buenos Aires is on your agenda then you can’t go wrong choosing Buenos Tours.

Having just returned from BA I am very happy to sing the praises of this company and especially our guide Ceri (Kerry).
The tour was good value and the pre-tour communication and payment process was very good and easy to achieve via their website.
We (3 males) were en-route home from a fishing trip in Patagonia and wanted to spend a few hours getting a feel for the city and its people.
Ceri accomplished that and more.
His love of the city, culture and people was evident to see and he guided us around a number of locations with good humour and an interesting travelogue of facts and trivia about the places we saw and people we met.
A coffee stop in a market, a visit to a wine shop, ice cream from the best shop in town, markets to help with buying presents for home and then some of the best steak we’ve ever eaten.
All featured large during the afternoon tour and Ceri was a valuable asset in guiding us to places that the average traveller wouldn’t perhaps find.
Wrapping up with a visit to the cemetery and then a cocktail at local cigar bar wrapped up the day nicely (even chatting about our shared love of British movies and musical genres).
His background and personality make him an interesting and interested companion and we had a great time.
Thanks again Ceri and see you gain at some stage soon I hope!

Ceri (pronounced Kerry) was our tour guide and he was superb. We had told him in advance of our interests and he personalized the tour accordingly. But, most of all, Ceri went out of his way to make us feel the "vibe" of Buenos Aires, why everyone is so warm and friendly and what is important to them. Ceri has an artistic background and gave us tremendous insight into the arts and the culture of the city. The highlight of our visit was the Recoleta Cemetery, with Ceri describing the lives of those that were buried there, and how the design of the crypts offered clues to the lifestyle and tastes of the locals over the years. It was a fascinating day, and Ceri's wonderful sense of humor was a delight. Highly recommended!

I'm so happy to have chosen this tour company during our recent stay in Buenos Aires. Jessica was fun and knowledgeable. We chose the two-day tour - the North and South one - and I'm so happy that we did. The company has wonderful customer service. We had to delay our tour by a day, due to our son getting sick with food poisoning. They were great in responding and helpful all around.
