Let me first say this is a great hotel, nice rooms, nice area, nice breakfast buffet but in many ways it's just weird. We stayed three times in the hotel over the course of 5 weeks for a total of 9 nights

- Not once did we even get a Hello from the waiters each morning at breakfast - not even a smile.
- The hotel rate : Every time we stayed we paid a different (much higher) rate, There was no real reason for this. On one occasion they mentioned carnival but it was not busier then before. We even got a better rate on Valentine's day.
- Each time we came the hotel staff at the reception was less and less friendly. The last time we were there, two people were standing around watching without saying a word while I was struggling to get a baby, two suitcases, thee bags and a baby stroller in the elevater. Help ? Forget it !
- Emails were not answered and when after 3 emails I called they claimed not to receive them. Emails after that were again completely ignored. That is not acceptable !

This place could be so great but please get your act together and resolve your service issues

The hotel is located in a very nice residential area of Palermo, very close to the parks, charming streets, nice cafes and restaurants. More low profile than Palermo Soho or Recoleta, you can leave for a walk and feel like you are a "local". The staff is extremely helpful and rooms are well ventilated and nicely decorated in clean style. Would certainly come back.

Stayed for two nights. Worked well for what we were looking for as our first choice was booked for Friday and Saturday. Location is awesome and room is comfortable if you want to have a friend or two over for a drink.
Staff needs some coaching though. Couldn't figure out the checkout to save their lives (this included when you followed the direction to inform them in advance that you are checking out so they can check the minibar themselves - they still didn't get it right so I have not one but two extra charges to my account for my minibar consumption - or at least that's what i'm assuming it is.) Nor could they check two people out at once - if you ask for Noon checkout, have two people at the desk from 11-1!
There was also a pillow with a large stain on it - not sure where it came from!

This was a very nice hotel, with a european flair, in a great location in Buenos Aires. The staff was very friendly and the price was very reasonable. I would reccommend this to all colleagues and fellow business travelers.

The hotel and room were generally nice -- no real complaints, in fact our room smelled rather "new". However, the one thing I despise in a merchant/hotel is when they take your money and don't care afterwards, and this is the sort of feeling we got with this hotel.
While booking they explicitly stated that they would give us a 15% discount for a pre-paid room, yet they charged us the pre-discounted amount. Upon check-in, we were told the overcharge issue will be resolved the next day, since the Manager was not around. The next morning the Manager was again absent. In spite of repeated emails and reminders after we checked out (at least 3 emails to different managers), there was NO RESPONSE from the management AT ALL. I couldn't believe it. I had to finally dispute the charge with my credit card company to remedy the overcharge (I won of course) which is never the best way to resolve a charge that is meant to be for hospitality, and the episode was just unnecessary and left a bad taste in our mouth.
There are plenty of very nice places within the same price range if not cheaper around Palermo and we have experienced better hospitality at some of these places.
