I stayed here for 5 night in total in March 2012 (3 at the beginning of the month and 2 a couple of weeks later). The hotel is well situated in Palermo in a street of the main Avenida Liberatdor.

The rooms are large and clean and everything seems to be in good condition (almost new in fact). The cafe/restaurant is pretty good for breakfast and lunch although there are many better places to eat in the evening. I'd describe it more as a good cafe than a restaurant.

Breakfast was simple but good.

The staff were all helpful and the internet connection via wifi was good enough.

They have a small swimming pool and gym in the basement which is also good.

My only possible criticism is that if you have a room on a lower floor there is some noise from the street.

The hotel makes a good base for Buenos Aires and its rates seem to be very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it

Room Tip: Go for a higher floor or a room at the back

Essentially, for Buenos Aires, this hotel is located in Palermo, a safe residential area away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the city centre. It is quite a long distance from the international airport but very close to the domestic airport making it ideal for overnight stays when passing through Buenos Aires.
The accommodation is excellent and the décor is very attractive. Our room was perfect - light, bright and comfortable overlooking a quiet street. There is a very nice cafeteria attached where simple meals and breakfast can be taken.
We can recommend this accommodation and will certainly book here again.

We stayed here on the beginning and end of a conference tour. The Hotel has ample rooms but tiny bathrooms, televisions are plced on the dividing walls between rooms and noisy. Corridors are tiled so closing doors resound through the floor. Don`t try to have an early breakfast with a large group, they run out of mostly everything nice. The best part of this hotel is the heated pool in the basement. Restaurants and parks are within walking distance.
For the price the hotel charges you can find better places in BA.

This hotel was an excellent choice. The staff is very friendly and helpful, great service, helped us with good tips on how to get to the attractions we wanted to, good restaurants nearby, etc. The hotel is very well located if you are traveling with family, or, looking forward to good dining. Beautiful neighborhood, you can walk to several parks, to great restaurants and great ice cream parlors. Breakfast was excellent too, recommend you take the room rate including breakfast.

The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of Palermo Viejo and Recoleta.
Although Aeroparque airport is close, 10 min by taxi, the area is relatively quiet.
The rooms are large, have good king-size beds and are mostly facing the street. Rooms facing the back yard are the most quiet. All rooms have a small balcony. Cleanliness is OK but on arrival we found some loose hair here and there. The following days the room was clean. It seems that the rooms from the 4th floor upwards are in the best condition, especially the bathroom.
Buffet breakfast is included in the room price, and is well attended to by the staff. Overall the staff is very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay in the Awwa hotel and will surely return if we visit BA in the future.
Have dinner at restaurant Bella Italia, Segui 3760, excellent service and food!

Room Tip: It seems that some rooms have been renovated, others not. This especially shows in the bathroom.
