Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on organised tour of South America stayed on the 3rd floor. Room was ok a little on small side but fine for sleeping. Very pleasant staff who were helpful without being over attentive and familiar, we personally disliked this approach which we experienced at other hotels whilst travelling. The breakfast was fine for quantity and quality and the bars were great with helpful and efficient service, however we were surprised even as guests that the bars close at mid-night ! Perhaps just as well because the often very early starts to travel around Buenos Aires. Ask for a city map at reception which they will mark with significant land marks to navigate your way around and back to hotel during day light, use taxi's at night.
There is a small supermarket across from the hotel that is great for day to day items that you will need. Can't comment upon value as this was part of the tour package.
Hope to come back and visit again

The hotel wants to be a kind of boutique hotel. The rooms are quite deferent in size and I stayed in 3 deferent rooms because I used the hotel as a base for my trip to Argentina. All rooms are modern, with good king size beds, bathtub and few of them have also balcony. Inside the hotel all is modern and new. The lobby and the bar are nice, wifi in all he hotel and in the rooms is free and is very fast. The location is great, easy to reach Calle Florida and also Avenue 9th May. There are some working on the street but will be ready very soon. I saw that another traveller mention about the receptionist and I confirm that the 2 men that are working in the evening are very nice, helpful but during the day the women that works at the reception is terrible. I was with a group as tour leader and I saw her yelling at few persons from the group, he even lied me regarding some adaptors.
The breakfast is just ok and the problem is that is served at -1 and there are no windows there

Room Tip: Check the rooms with balcony that are bigger

The hotel itself is quite nice - modern decor, rooms were clean (not too large but a perfectly fine size), Skybar on the roof, included breakfast had a wide array of food choices. Our room faced a narrow, drab street - not a great view, which seems consistent with other reviewers as well. WiFi was VERY slow. There is some noise from the traffic on the street, so you might want to get a room on a higher floor to minimize the noise. I found the front desk staff to vary - some of the receptionists seemed friendly and were very helpful with answering questions, some seemed more aloof and our interactions much more brief. The neighborhood seemed fine - close to a park, walkable to many major city sights, close to restaurants. Calle Florida is nearby to stroll down as well. I would recommend the hotel with some reservations - definitely depends on the rate obtained.

Our group of 8 stayed at this hotel one night at the beginning of our 10-day adventure. We found the early afternoon receptionists (1 woman, 1 man) to not be very helpful or friendly. The evening receptionists (2 men) were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was very nice. Construction outside, so higher floor/room is probably necessary. The breakfast was good, lots of options. Great location for free walking tour, hop-on-hop-off bus, 25 minute walk to cemetery, 30 minute walk to capitol building. Recommend hotel as good value (via Jetsetter), but not blown away. Unfortunately, the rain closed the skybar, so we were never able to enjoy that part of the hotel (which was originally a big selling point).

Room Tip: Recommend higher floor to avoid construction noise (no noise in our room on 8th floor).

Located in an area of the city in convenient walking distance of many of the tourist attractions. Reception staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The rooms are not the largest but are reasonable and well furnished. The views are not the best so room choice is not that important but the higher the better as it gets you away from early morning traffic noise - not that bad!

The Skybar on the 13th floor is 'the' place to drink. The view isn't that great but the atmosphere is good. However on a busy Friday, the service was appalling (so bad it was comical and, thus, entertaining) and we had a good choice of food - not all of which had been ordered!

We stayed at the Pulitzer for two nights at the beginning and another 2 at the end and would recommend

Room good, food also. Decor interesting, mainly balck and white. Situation quite good although not easy for bus pick ups.

Stayed three nights on an organised tour to Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

Didn't like not being able to pay my bill in pesos, but having to pay in US$ at the very low rate of 7.8 pesos to the $ (average rates available elsewhere circa 10, and range 7.8 - 12.5!)

Also, Hotel not willing to open up breakfast room a little early to allow party (of 30+) a proper breakfast before having to leave for airport. But they didn't object violently when the party rather gatecrashed the breakfast room 10 minutes early - difficult to argue with crowd pressure...

We stayed for three nights in January. Overall, it was a good experience - the room was large but the view was poor, made worse due to the roadworks outside. As a city location though, it was well placed for access to many of the things we were there to see. We were on the 9th floor, which is an good compromise between accepting street noise or bar noise - the soundproofing is very effective though. The bed was comfortable, but not as good as many four star hotels we've stayed in. Everything was very clean, even the dark carpet in the room which would have shown any deficiencies. Overall service was good in all areas, and there were always a lot of staff on hand.
We enjoyed the Sky bar in the early evenings, but made the mistake of returning to the hotel for food on the night a live band were playing - conversation wasn't an option, let alone eating. This bar appears to exist mainly as a meeting place for non-residents, which keeps it vibrant but made it a no-go area for us that night. We were forced to go back into the city to eat, so not pleased at all.
