We spent three nights here and the hotel provided everything we could have wished for. The room was clean, light and airy, staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast from the restaurant on the top floor gave a great start to the day. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. However, the hotel's location means that both the riverfront at Puerto Madero and the cultural centre of Buenos Aires lie only ten minutes' stroll away.

Not bad if you need nothing but bed overnight. It was designed nicely, but is mainained loosely. Linens ain't fresh with spots, towels are grey and worn out. But I like location - close to Pink House, Puerto Modero and San Telmo.

The bath room is not clean at all,my room either.,and it was so small that I didnT have any chair or little table to sit down..... .At night there are beautifull girls at the reception halln that I think may be for people to pass the night. You can imagine a 4 stars hotel(so classified) that has at the reception a card written',if you want to change for a better room you just have to pay US$ 19.00 per night...., what for ,if you are in a 4 stars Hotel .The reception at night is the worst, they do not care about you at all.I asked to change my room.they promised each day and never did.,Many peolple were saying the same.Elevators some times didn `t work.....restaurant just for breakfast,at night is closed.....I am talking of Unique Madero Hotel, calle Chile 80,because I see others Madero Hotel that I don`t know at all.At 16 pm,rooms are not clean, they told me(people that clean up) that they must clean before the rooms of people whom lives the hotel(to put more people and our room?...they don`t have a good service at all..it is a shame for Buenos Ayres,a loss of monney for visitors.I will never go again to this Hotel, hope will help others travelers to don`t waste their trip;....Silva Maranca...São Paulo,Brasil.

Room Tip: This Hotel Unique madero Hotel is not a good Hotel, not even to tell frieds to go there.....far away...

The hotel is close to restaurants at Puerto Madero and not far from the San Telmo neighborhhod and downtown. Comfortable and clean. Not fancy but well organized and at an economic rate. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Breakfast is OK (with a wonderful view of the city).

I visited Buenos Aires in September and stayed at the "Hotel Madero". This hotel is located in the Puerto Madero district. Just outside the front door of the hotel you can begin a stroll along the water and visit any of the restaurants, coffee shops, bars and deli's that the area has to offer. The hotel itself has a contemporary vibe and is very nice for Buenos Aires standards. Our hotel room was well appointed and was very clean. I would say the hotel is a bit worn but it is kept up nicely. We did have breakfast at the hotel and it was good and provides a lot of variety. My stay at this hotel was very short but I would go back and I would recommend this hotel to friends. It is within walking distance to the financial district. Be very careful when traveling to Argentina. We found the people of Argentina to be nice and friendly, but a friend had his watch stolen right off his wrist by motorcycle bandits while walking in the financial district. Do not flaunt your cell phone or any jewelry.

If you need to be close to Puerto Madero --or even if you don't, but want a good hotel, with a comfy room, good bath and shower, complete breakfast with a beautiful view, this is it. If lucky enough, you'll be greeted by Patricio at the front desk, a most helpful, agreeable, knowledgeable young gentleman who will be ready to answer your queries and sort out your problems with a smile!

I booked the hotel based on faulty information on Hotels.com. Hotels says the rooms all have washers and dryers and that was blatantly wrong. It was also close by Casa Rosado and Retiro so booked it. The property is dated and worn but the front desk staff was excellent, breakfast good enough, and for one night it was okay. I may even book it in the future since it is very close to San Telmo which is where I like to stopover in BA.
Diego, Pablo and Patrick were excellent and if I do book this property again it will be because they did such a good job I can overlook the worn out feeling of the furnishings.
