The Sunday feria begins at Plaza Dorrego in the San Telmo district and then runs many blocks down Difensa, all the way to the center of government at Casa Rosada. About halfway down, Sr. Telmo appears, with some nice craft beer specials chalked up outside. Draft beer was not on the day I stopped but the selection in bottles was good. My first choice for pizza was also a non starter due to lack of spinach, All in all, the pizza was good if you like thin crust (I do), the beer was good, and the atmosphere was great, with a street band playing tango songs just outside and the vendors up and down the sidewalk. Graffiti artists had tagged the walls, but that seems to be the case everywhere in B.A.

It's a small place, with a relaxed atmosphere: old brick-walls with nice lighting, nice music on the background and a great mood! It's a very "arts and artists" kind of place.
The service was good, and our pizza was simple, well made and with good ingredients. There's a lot of small-brewery beers to your choice, ant it's nice to try a couple or more!
A place to go again, for sure!

Great area for artwork, small galleries, killer restaurants and great bars. It appears a little rough, with some trash, graffiti, etc., but we had a great time cruising around, eating and drinking.

The market on Sunday is incredibly fun. Tango dancers, drinks, music and some cool treasures. Don't miss it!

The place is pretty nice with brick walls and the lightning is not as bright as the usual lightning in Argentinian restaurants.
Unfortunately the pizza is merely OK, there are much better places around, but they don't look as nice.

We rented an apartment for a week, and spent much of our time in Buenos Aires in this atmospheric, charming part if the city, where the buildings are smaller and the pace is slower than you would expect in a bustling city. If you are looking for streets with character and soul, San Telmo is a very good choice. My wife and I loved the people, the architecture, trees and cobble stone streets.
