I've been here several times now, and the service, the food, the wines and the place are always great. Every time I go, I ate something different and it has been always delicious. It is worth the try.

“Best fish; Best steak; Best wine”
Reviewed 29 November 2013 via mobile

Came here twice in a week. Each time our table of friends could not believe how good this place is. Very reasonably priced. The lomo steak is the equal if not better than any other in BA and was only around 100 pesos. The fish was a little more expensive at 175 pesos but was honestly the best melt in your mouth white fish ever. Slow cooked lamb is also great, duck is thinly sliced and cooked to a pinky perfection. Starter of prawns is sensational. You just can't go wrong. And to top it off they have a huge wine list with really really good bottles under 100 pesos. Can't belive this is not a top 10 restaurant. Make a reservation. Otherwise there are usually free seats at the bar, or just wait for a table. It's worth it!

“Good food and wine pairings”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

Arrived at 10:30 on a busy night without reservations so we were seated at the bar and given some sparkling wine to console us for our "inconvenience" (the typical South American graciousness, that I am already missing greatly). Anyway in just a few minutes we were seated and enjoyed another free sip of chardonnay with our amuse bouche. The restaurant is indeed geared to Patagonian wine and food, and how best to pair them, which was fun and interesting. We split a prawn appetizer which our server - who truly seemed passionate about food and wine- paired with a Pinot Noir. Then I had a steak - wonderful. Wife had a beautiful piece of roast lamb- we are lamb afficionados and this was as good as any we have ever had. To help decide which reds to have with these our server brought a few bottles over to the table so we could try and then decide. Fun. The restaurant itself was elegant and pleasant. I would probably not say that Patagonian wine is on the same level with Mendoza, but then again would Mendoza hold up against Bordeaux? And frankly what's the point of comparing? Different is good. All I know is the wine was very good and interesting, and paired well with the amazing food. We were intrigued enought to buy a bottle of wine from Patagonia which is now sitting in our cellar. This restaurant is excellent.

“Great food and service”

Had a very pleasurable evening at the Del Fin Del Mundo. Mike, who served us, was super. The steaks were great. So were the wines and desserts. The place was very pleasingly designed. Highly recommended.

“Awesome food”
Reviewed 7 November 2013 via mobile

We went there the day before the elections therefore they were not selling wine, but I didn't miss the wine at all because the food was so awesome that I didn't mind not having a drink. Service was excellent also. The restaurant is beautiful. By the way my cab driver recommended this restaurant and we were super grateful he did.
