Stayed here for four nights and rebooked for our return because we were so impressed. Service is great and the hotel is tastefully decorated. Great gym and pool. Breakfast has a reasonable selection. Staff were really helpful on recommending places to eat. Although the surrounding area isn't brilliant, it is opposite the Intercontinental, a Starbucks and very near a subway. We walked around in the evening and had no problems.

Firstly the hotel let us change our booking dates when we needed to change our plans, which was great, but really that's the only positive thing I can say about the hotel, yes it's near down town, and San telmo, if you want to be in the thick off it, but after spending 6 nights in the stunning boutique hotel "the glu" in palermo, this hotel left me cold! We booked the junior suite, for supposedly 5* this was basic, no kettle in room etc the view was ugly buildings but granted your in the heart of the city, the bathroom was clean but very badly designed with 3 big windows around the bath (the shower was over the bath) so you pulled the blinds down to shower, but the water ran down the blinds onto the sills, it has no where to go, so it travels round the edges of the bath then onto the floor, where there will gather a puddle on the floor ( so be careful) my main gripe is that the hotel advertises itself as sound proof, believe me this is not the case!!!!! There is a night club really close by and you can enjoy the thump thump thump off rave music if that's your thing! And noise from next door? Yip you can hear your neighbour blow his nose!!!! The staff were indifferent, and didn't lift there heads to acknowledge you when leaving/ arriving at hotel. All in all the breakfast was OK, but the only warm things were scrambled eggs. This hotel may suit some, wasn't for me, it lacks the personal touch and it lies about being sound proofed!!!

This is a very nice and modern hotel, with lovely facilities - i.e. pool! The Boca theme is well thought out, and not at all OTT. The neighborhood is a bit rough and ready, so late night walking back may not be the best idea - taxis are quite cheap anyway...

Large rooms with modern, well-appointed bathrooms. Hallways are very dark in keeping with the Boca Juniors colours. WiFi spotty in some of the rooms.

Easy walk to Plaza de Mayo and one block off Avenida de 9 de Julio (near the Evita likenesses steel wall cut applied on the facades of the Ministry of Social Development building). Lots of excellent restaurants and tango nearby.

Secure luggage storage facility.

Unfortunately, on our 2nd stay we had a room facing the street and there was some overnight street work being done. Otherwise, a quiet hotel.

Changed rooms 3 times. First - we booked a junior suite. Double bed, Didnt get it. After speaking with desk, they changed us to larger room. (Not a suite). Still twin beds. Then, after heavy rain, room leaked, so they moved us again to another room. Smaller. 3 single beds.
This hotel is centrally located. The only thing going for it in my opinion. Although breakfast adequate.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks at this hotel recently. The rooms are large and kept very clean and the food from the restaurant is sensational. That's where my praise for this hotel ends.

There are no ironing facilities in the rooms there also isn't and tea or coffee facilities. When we asked if there was any laundry businesses locally that we could use instead of using there incredibly expensive laundry service we were told that there was not any such things locally and our only option was to use there service. This was false there are 2 laundry businesses within a block of either side of the hotel.

The kitchen and bar staff were very friendly but the desk staff were incredibly rude. One female member in-particular was at one point so rude to my wife that I needed to talk her out of changing hotels.

The area isn't great and I would recommend not walking around to latest night. We travel to Buenos Aires every year we won't be staying at this hotel again.
