We stayed here twice during our visit to Argentina. Incredible rooms, large, clean and bright with a lovely view of the cemetary and more than enough space to stow our stuff. Room had a microwave, fridge, and a stovetop.

The bathroom was also spacious with all the expected amenities.

The breakfast spread was great and the staff always friendly and smiling. They even remembered our coffee preferences!

We left the city for a week to visit elsewhere and the hotel stored bags for us at no charge.

What really makes the place is the staff, from the housekeepers to the front desk. They were more than helpful whether calling a cab booking a tango show or recommending a restaurant. I am not sure why one of the reviews thought the staff was not happy, our experience was the opposite. They were happy to engage with the guests.

Oh, and the location:superb. Many good restaurants within easy walking distance. I recommend Rodi and La Pecora Nera. Also museums and parks one of which has a weekend market. A 12 block walk to the metro. We mostly walked everywhere.

It was just a completely terrific experience, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

My husband and I stayed here twice during our visit to South America. The check in was pleasant and efficient, on our first stay they checked us in early which was much appreciated after a long journey from London. The rooms are smart, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful with helping arrange trips. Breakfast was adequate but on our last day we had to leave early and at 7am the breakfast was not ready and by our leaving time at 7.25 no tea coffee or eggs had materialised. This was disappointing. However, overall our stay was good and the position of the hotel is good We did not use any of the other facilities so I cannot comment on them.

Room Tip: we had a standard room which looks out on blocks of flats. The superior rooms look onto the cemeter...

I found this gem on Trip Advisor and all the reviews were accurate. This boutique hotel is opposite Recoleta cemetery and very well located. We were in Buenos Aires for five days and we were able to walk almost everywhere. The rooms were spacious replete with a table, two chairs and fridge. Good closet space with wooden hangars. The bathroom was excellent too.
The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area were outstanding. They were cheerful and helpful. They suggested a good restaurant on our first evening in BA and called cabs for their guests. One must be sure to use only Remise taxis in this city. By coincidence, 20 of us were going on the same cruise and the hotel called cabs and took care of our luggage for all of us.

One of the top two hotels that I have stayed in during the 6 weeks that I have been travelling in Argentina.
It is located on the opposite side of the entrance to the cemetery (a 5 min walk) and there are wonderful views from the pool and gym area on the top floor of the hotel.

A modern and stylish apart- hotel. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable and they have a small kitchenette which has all of the utensils that you would need to cook a meal. Bathrooms are very nice, with a large shower and modern stylish fixtures.

Breakfast has a good spread of food and is available till 11 (from memory) which is great after a big night out in the city.

The staff were helpful but could have looked a little happier about their jobs and a smile would definitely help.

I stayed for five days at Hotel Sileo with my family during our recent trip to South America and I have to stay this is by far one of the best hotel experiences I have had. First of all, the location could not be better. In the heart of Recoleta, it is directly across from the famous Cemetery and within walking distance to many attractions including the Recoleta Mall, street shopping, and lots of great casual dining. Albeit a longer jaunt, my dad and I walked to Plaza de Mayo and enjoyed the distance as it allowed us to see much more of the city. Also, we were able to easily walk to a hop-on hop-off bus stop and from there went to explore San Telmo and Puerto Madero.

The small boutique hotel itself is visually very appealing as it is also an art gallery, as was explained to me by the staff. On the lower lobby level they feature different artists each month and have beautiful art hanging in all the public areas. There is a small bar staffed with the friendliest employees where my family and I would enjoy a drink before going to dinner. The rooftop pool and sauna are cozy and never crowded and offered absolutely breathtaking views of the cemetery. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, modern, and clean.

To top it all off, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. All I encountered truly went out of their way to ensure we were not only comfortable and felt at home, but were getting the fullest experience we could while in Buenos Aires. Miguel had perfect dining and entertainment recommendations and took beautiful care of all of our requests. Juanito, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah were also so attentive and gave great advice on things to do in the city.

We all felt so welcomed and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any and all travelers to the incredible city of Buenos Aires.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor that faces the cemetery.
