Wonderful hotel in the middle of busy Buenas Aires. Great location to grab a hotel to see other parts of the city. The staff was more than helpful, rooms large, very clean. The best part of the hotel is the lobby bar with fresco on the ceiling and very "grand". Don't worry about reviews on the location because you will be visiting so many other areas of the city, you probably will use a taxi anyway.

The Savoy is classic style hotel with good amenities and ungraded rooms from a few years ago. We found the main drawback to be the location. With taxis cheap in BA I think it is better to stay in a nicer area like Palermo or Recoleta, a bit away from the dirtier main streets

One of the former landmark hotels of Buenos Aires has been properly renovated. The old charm of the entrance, the lobby and the corridors has been retained, whereas the rooms have lost all of its grandeur. These are well equipped, but standard **** rooms.
Some struggling with the internet, whereas one has to pay for internet in the room.
The porter does not seem to be very interested.

Room Tip: Don't worry of being at busy Callao, the rooms are properly isolated.

This was a jewel in the middle of B.A? Eva Peron stayed there. The staff were friendly. The only negative feature was the wireless access. The street outside is busy, bit gives access to activities in B.A?

My fiancé and I stayed at the Savoy Hotel one night in between our trips to El Calafate and Mendoza. We arrived late at night and the staff was delightful in helping us get settled in. We were so impressed with the room…it was much larger than we expected…especially the bathroom, which had lots of counter space and a huge shower. The room itself is beautifully decorated and almost feels Old-Hollywood style. Our view looked out at the side of a building, but that didn't bother us, as we were only there for one night.

However, it's in the middle of the theater district, which, in many cities, is an area that can be a bit seedier at night, and also more directed toward tourists. We were starving and the only restaurants open around midnight were American-themed pizzerias and Burger King. Delirious, we ate at one of the pizzerias, and it was fine. I would highly recommend staying in Palermo or Barrio Norte if you are staying in BA for several days, as the food options and nightlife options are much better. However, I bet if you are visiting BA for the theater or other touristy attractions, you would love the Savoy!

The decor in this hotel is spectacular. The room we stayed in, the mid grade one with kingsize bed, was a bit small, however, and it would be nice to have wifi in the room for free instead of going downstairs. Great shower. Great Mattress.

Right down the street from the Congress building and easy walking access to lots of historical sites. Safe area to walk. The rooms are really big and well appointed. The hotel is a nostalgic leap back to a time when Argentine aristocrats stayed here - including the Perons.
