1. Very good location - Close to Florida street ( for all shopping enthusiasts), the business district is very close, you can actually walk to the river side, all the tourist spots - richoletta, laboca can be reached in 15 - 20 mins by cab
2. If you happen to visit from India, food may be a challenge in the hotel.. however quite a few indian restaurants located close by, you have lot of eating places to chose from if you are in florida street
3. Should chose rooms which open up towards the road..the rear side opens up to other buildings
4 Staff understand english and they are quite helpful

regards

This is a 4-5 star hotel with a very attentive staff, who generally speak English well. It's in an excellent location for walking, with good pedestrian shopping areas and lots of restaurants close by, as well as a short walk to parks, some tourist sites and public transport. I had considered staying at the Hilton, but while walking around found the Hilton is not located in a good area for walking (it's near parks on the edge of the city, but not nearly as convenient for walking to shopping and restaurants). The other Sheraton is fairly near the Hilton, and also not in the best area for close walking access to everything. The Libertador is definitely the better location if you want to walk.

The room was clean, comfortable and had the usual amenities (but no iron/ironing board included - you have to ask for that). It was fairly quiet in spite of being in the midst of the city - only occasional minor traffic noise.
The bar on the main floor serves some food and was good, although not very cozy. I didn't try the main restaurant as I chose to walk out to try the nearby ones. The Club room on the 21st floor is pretty decent and serves a selection of breakfast, mid-day and evening snacks.

The WiFi was 50 pesos/day and the internet connection died one day due to an offsite problem. When it worked, it worked pretty well, with good speed. The pool is enclosed on the top floor, next to the Exercise room (which looked pretty decent).

I recommend this hotel.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay at the Sheraton Libertador, and we enthusiastically recommend it for the wonderful service it provides, the quality of its accommodations, and its superb location. This is an excellent hotel staffed by friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful personnel, The accommodations are comfortable and very clean, with large rooms and bathrooms. Parenthetically, members of the Sheraton Club have access to the Club Lounge that offers free breakfast and selected drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the evening. The hotel is located in the heart of Buenos Aires, a block from Florida Street and its many shops, including beautiful Galerias Pacifico, and at walking distance from Parque San Martin, Teatro Colon, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, and many other attractions. Its two restaurants, la Pergola and the more relaxed Lobby Bar & Restaurant, offer a great variety of International and Argentine dishes at moderate prices.
Additional amenities include an indoor swimming pool, an excellent fitness center, and a business center.
On the negative side, the charge for Wi-Fi use is disproportionate.

Room Tip: Club floors give you access to the Club Lounge and free bottled water in the room.

I've stayed at several hotels throughout Buenos Aires for business and made a last minute reservation at this location. What a pleasant surprise. Service was excellent, room just fine, breakfast in the lounge however lacked quality, but it was passable.

Best part of this hotel is it's location. Less than half a block from the shops, very convenient whether you come for business or pleasure. There's always time to wal about.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Hotel. I would highly consider to offer this option to our guests.

As being part of Argentina Tango Tennis, I travel and spend nights at different Hotels in Buenos Aires to make sure that the Hotels that offer to our guests are the best. For that reason I spent three nights at this Sheraton Libertador Hotel.

The service, including the check in and use of the amenities -gym and swimming pool- was great. Everybody was friendly and their English knowledge I think must be greatly appreciated by international travelers. The room was comfortably, clean and with a great view. The bathroom was also clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in a key location. It is close to downtown Buenos Aires, not so far from Puerto Madero and close to public transportation and shopping malls

Finally, I would like to mention the complementary bottle of champagne and table of cheeses for my last night. It was another great gesture and those little things are the ones that contribute to the "feel good" factor in any holiday.

Juan.

If you are in the city for bussiness or pleasure, the hotel is nicely located clse to 9 de Julio and the shopping discrict (Florida). Also not far from some of the best bars in town (like Milion)
The hotel has the traditional Sheraton Room, tho with more light than ussual which is nice. Even tho the building is high, there is not much view, and the Executive lounge is quite small.
Not a good option for family vacations, but great if just adults no matter the agenda.
