we had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights in row and then one night before our flight home. the staff is exemplary. nothing is too hard for them to take care of. so polite that it literally left my husband and i speechless. we have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world and this one is up there with the best. the rooms are large, well appointed. the gym and spa are wonderful. breakfast in restuarant not to be missed. the bar is sublimely elegant. we flew to el calafate and needed to store some extra luggage, on our return to the hotel our bags where in our rooms waiting for us.

The Four Seasons was a phenomenal choice for us. It was very comfortable as far as the staff, the accomodations and the entire approach. It was not overly stuffy which some high end hotels can be, which was wonderful. We developed a great rapport with the front desk staff as well as the restaurant and pool staff. From the first contact onward, it felt like "home". Breakfast was unbelievable, so make sure you either book with the buffet breakfast or you take advantage of it everyday. It sets the "culture" for your experience in Argentina.

We walked by the other hotels at which we contemplated staying, and I'm so pleased that we chose the Four Seasons.

We'll be back!

Over the period of 10 days my wife and I stayed on 2 occasions. Simply put, the service was excellent; the staff are discreet yet friendly and professional. The rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable and has a luxurious feel.

We will stay here again without hesitation.

The pool was a real gem to escape the busy street life of Buenos Aires & the the spa was a great place to relax. Would stay at this Four Seasons again if I ever get the chance to make it back to Argentina!

It looks like The Four Seasons, smells like The Four Seasons, has amazing service like the Four Seasons. But you won't sleep like you should at the Four Seasons. The walls are pretty thin. At rush hour, you can hear phones ring all over the floor as guests plan their their evenings. And at 4 AM? Let's just say, thank God the guy in 815 wasn't taking 36 hour Cialis. Someone told me the property was built to be another hotel chain. Unfortunately, the building itself has the quality of any other hotel chain. That being said, the staff couldn't be friendlier, the service couldn't be better, the food fantastic. Who needs sleep? We'll get enough when we're dead.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms near the 7th fl coffee bar.

Why stay at the Four Seasons Buenos Aires? Service. In a word - impeccable.

I frequently stay in Four Seasons and Ritz Carltons and many other 5 star hotels - over 100 nights per year. The staff of this particular Four Seasons are superb. Professional, genuine and very intuitive service delivered by well trained professionals.

We had an executive suite facing the La Mansion. I would strongly recommend booking rooms or suites facing the backside "La Mansion". This is by far a more pleasant view than the highway/freeway view which is at the front of the hotel.

The Four Seasons is on the edge of the fashionable Recoleta neighborhood. It is in a busy and rather "un-pretty" area of Recoleta with a major trafficway running by the side. However our room was very quiet.

Rooms are typical Four Seasons - luxurious and plush in a no non-sense conservative sort of way.

Sunday Brunch at "La Mansion" was a highlight of the stay and is highly recommended. At $100 USD per head it's not cheap but good value with free flow sparkling wine and lots of very fresh seafood and high quality meats. It's served in the very elegant "Mansion" section of the Four Seasons.

The spa was a small delight. A very nice city hotel spa. Oscar is a very skilled therapist and I highly recommend him for deep tissue massage therapy!

My previous BA experience was at The Park Hyatt which has more visual aesthetic interest and a slightly better location a couple of blocks away in Recoleta. However the service at the Four Seasons is the creme de la creme. Both hotels are excellent choices. Four Seasons service is superlative. The Park Hyatt is visually stunning - especially the Palacio histroric building.

The poor pun not withstanding, this was the fifth time in five years at FS Buenos Aires. The verdict: we'll be back next year. The hotel does not have the most modern rooms, or the best restaurant, or a cheese bar, or a newsstand.

It does have the absolute best service in BA.

If there is a threat of rain, the door staff will hand you an umbrella. And they always give you a card with the hotel's address--in case your espanol is muy malo--and they note the taxi's number on a card in case you leave something behind when you exit.Need a current converter to transform 220 to 110--in case, for example you have a WaterPik--and it will be installed in your room. Need extra wash cloths, more soap, more anything, and a call to housekeeping evokes an immediate response.Want breakfast in your room at precisely 8:00am,? At that exact moment there will be a discreet knock on your door. Want information about restaurants, tango shows--malongas and the theatrical ones--and the concierge staff is ready for you. Ask them anything--or even the same thing again and again, as occasionally we have--and their smiles, and service, never falters. In contrast to some other hotels in BA, the atmosphere of this place is warmly hospitable, friendly, yet always efficient. Yes, this is an expensive hotel--particularly for Argentina, where the ARpeso is softening. But it nonetheless represents value, given the extraordinary high level of satisfaction you can expect. If you have questions about BA, please do contact me. It is a wonderful city, and it is easy to fall in love there, again and again.
