Breakfast is not a big thing here, dinner was not the best but was good. Service at reception is very good and friendly. Hotel has a good location, if want to walk there is something nice around.
Room is nice, very clean, did not have a view but I even opened my window...bethroom is huge, I think water pipes are old so the water comes out a bit red, like rusty...

This is a very good hotel and a nice place to stay. On the plus side it is a friendly hotel with clean rooms and very good food in the bar/restaurant. On the downside we found the bar rarely had any beer and sometimes when it did it was warm. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel which is also in a very good location.

My colleague and me stayed two weeks at the Aspen Towers. Having researched a bit and spoken to others who stayed in other places in Microcentro, the Aspen Towers is probably one of the best places in the price range. There are few things to criticize. The WiFi worked fine for me but not for my colleague (he had to change rooms). There is no central heating which could be an issue if you come in winter, because the A/C is off during the day (and night, as it is somewhat noisy), and in the morning or when you come back from work it can be chilly and slightly smelly in the room; not a big issue, though. The bathroom had a small jacuzzi (replacing the ordinary bathtub) which I didn't try, but you could see that this was built several years ago and the silicon hadn't been redone. Such kind of details. But overall it's very nice. Our rooms were large and clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is fine (although the coffee was water-like, my colleague said, but you can get better one against payment). Convenient to have the business district (parts of it) in walking distance. Would come back here.

Room Tip: I'd choose a room to the street. The sound insulation is alright, and the view may be a bit nice...

We stayed at the Aspen Towers for three nights in January 2013. The hotel is well located, easy walking to get to shopping and double decker buses for tours. Hotel staff very friendly and fluent in English which was helpful. Breakfast a little lacking, had a wonderful dinner. We felt the hotel was a very good value. We had five other couples who also liked the hotel. We spent fifty days touring Argentina by motorhome after leaving the Aspen Towers and felt this was a great start to our trip.

we stayed for 3 nights, nice room and ok breakfast. the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. the CAUTION --when we checked out we had a "0" balance. when we got home and received our credit card bill we had a charge for 36 pesos, $7.12 usd. I sent 3 emails for clarification with no response. WE WILL NOT STAY HERE ON OUR NEXT VISIT. the amount is small , the fraud is large.

I would like to let you know I have personally made a research regarding any possible charge to your credit card, and I have been informed that no charge is made unless the guest is aware of it. So I would like to ask you to send us your email again, as we did not receive it, to sales@aspentowers.com.ar. Great clean and affordable accommodation in downtown Buenos Aires close to parks and major shopping street Florida.. Very pleasant staff who are helpful and who spoke excellent English. Central location. Breakfast and wifi included, .When in Buenos Aires save you coin pesos for local inexpensive buses to places like the botanical or Japanese gardens. Buses require bus pass or 3 pesos in coins, no change is given by drivers. Preferably get some coins from your hotel lobby since banks do not change foreign exchange only cambios. Coins are generally in short supply in Argentina.

Local taxis off the street (select taxi marked radio taxi for safety) are inexpensive. Taxis at stands at the ferry terminal to Montevideo try to fleece you three hundred per cent, go out on the street above the Ferry terminal and wave down a taxi.

Ferry between Buenos Aires and Montevideo is fast efficient and easy to take. Be sure to carry your Argentine entry visa or you will pay twice if Canadian, Australian or US citizen.

Stayed one night arriving late from an excursion and left the next day. Room was very comfortable, business center very convenient and a good breakfast. Location is convenient to Pl. del Mayo and Florida. Not great for venturing out late at night.
