The stay was very pleasant. The rooms were always very clean, apart from owning heater and air conditioner. I have celiac disease and I provided a suitable breakfastwhat was very kind. Also, the location is great, next to Florida Street, the "pink house", the Obelisk and the subway. The staff are very pleasant too.

Room Tip: Clean, comfortable and next to the subway.

The location is great if you want to exploit central BA. The hotel is a bit worm out, but it has no claims to be the best in town. Breakfast is good, but the lifts are very noisy and the couch in the living room is not big enough for two people

We really liked the personnel at Sarmiento, so friendly and helpful, but the location is seedy. Fortunately there is a security guard at the door at all hours. We did not find any decent restaurants or shopping nearby (Florida Street is a huge disappointment). The breakfast was mediocre (stale breads and limited selection) and the dining area is very cramped. One morning it was too full to use so the staff brought the breakfast to our room on trays--another plus for the wonderful staff. The rooms facing the street were very noisy, even those with double pane windows. The rooms were clean if you didn't look closely at the AC vents or the curtains. The hotel definitely needs refurbishing, broken lamps and old appliances, especially AC systems need replacement.

Room Tip: Do not select a room facing the street (all the suites with 2 bedrooms) unless you have very good earplugs!

Clean Room- Ok Breakfast - Ok Kitchen
Excelent location. Good Front desk service.
The first night the hotel never found my reservation and we were walk to a terreble hotel for one night, that hotel name is Liberty, we had and Sarmiento Suite charge me the night. I found this really back since I am in the Hotel business and I know the way to manage this over book situations.

We found excellent the reception staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the location, central and connected with every important place to visit in Buenos Aires.
Something to improve: the breakfast room is veri uncomfortable, so little for a big apart hotel like this...The breakfast might include ham, cheese and cakes. But it is no bad...It is a suggestion to remember in the future.!!. But they offer you to have breakfast in your room, without extra charge: we took anvantage of this service and was charming !
Another thing: Wi Fi service migth be included in the fare of the room, not paid as an aditional service.
