You just can't beat the location of this hotel - it's located right next to Calle Florida, Puerto Madero, Plaza de Mayo... everything is within easy reach!

Service at the hotel is professional - although some of the staff struggle with their english, they will do their utmost for you at all times.

Rooms are very spacious, comfortable & clean. Breakfst in okay, althogh there is no selction of any hot platters whatsoever.

Great Hotel!

Buenos Aires is so spread out, it was hard to decide what area to stay. We liked this hotel because of the location, a 5 minute walk to all the nice restaurants and cafes at Puerto Madero, also 3 blocks to the Pacifico mall and Florida street. The hotel itself seems brand new, it is immaculately clean, the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was just OK, it would be nice to have some hot food (eggs etc), it is only limited cereals, yogurt, fruit, and a few bread/pastry. The gym is nothing, just 2 treadmills. The Wifi was free, although a little quirky sometimes it worked OK; they try to "upsell" you a faster Wifi package, do not buy it as the free one is just fine. You have to understand that BA is a very "urban" city, just like NYC, from one block to another you may feel uncomfortable late at night. But the street taxis are VERY cheap, we took them everywhere, and never once got ripped off (I always pronounced our destination to the driver in spanish. and also the currency, I think it helps a little if you look like you've got a clue). As seems to be the customer in many South American cities, this hotel has a weird and VERY strict "No visitors" policy, they have security 24/7 (which is great) but they outright refused to allow my friend up to my room (I am not talking about an overnight visit, just a brief one during the day). he had to sit in the lobby and wait, which I think is very rude of the management policy. Overall I would stay here again, because it was VERY reasonably priced, and good location.

Room Tip: I had a corner view looking out over the port, which was nice; it is not exactly a huge deal, but ni...

No frills place to stay in BA. Close to Calle Florida, Puerto Madera & In Centro.. Free breakfast in the am was very good & extensive and small self-serve market was good for beverages & a sandwich on the go.. Rooms are well-appointed with large flat screens & decent size bathroom. Ask for a higer floor with a view. And with Priority Club membership checkout extends til 2PM.

Room Tip: see above!

I stayed three weeks in a row (including week-ends) at this hotel and it has been a good experience. Overall, it follows the standards of Holiday Inn Express, nothing more.

What I liked:
My room has a king bed, very comfortable.
The bathroom was clean and everything was working fine.
The staff was kind and helpful.
The continental breakfast was good.
The location of the hotel is good: 5 minutes-walk to the restaurant area of Puerto Madero, also to the shopping Las Pacificas and the subway.

What I disliked:
No fridge in the room.
The gym center is very small and only offers cardio equipment.
The mini-bar has a very poor selection of food.
The free wifi is very slow (256 kb/s) and you have to pay to have a faster access

This is the second time I am staying at this hotel, and it is perfectly located (near the Galeria Pacifico and plenty of other shopping places, cafes and restaurants, almost next door to a winestore, a pharmacy, across the street from Buquebus where you can go to Uruguay etc.)
The staff speaks very good English and is willing to help with any problems/questions. It is a Holiday Inn Express, however - and it shows sometimes - the breakfast food was ATROCIOUS: coffee disgusting, breads stale, avoid! it may be FREE for your wallet, but your stomach will pay the price.
To sum it up, location is location, it's adequate, if slightly overpriced (I use my points/cash combination), amenities are good, if small.

There is nothing wrong with this Hotel. It is a standard Holiday Inn Express. The place is clean, the rooms ok (if a little small) the staff are helpful and friendly, the breakfast is adequate, the location fine etc etc etc. However at the price you can get a lot better in Buenos Aires.

I flew into Buenos Aires a day earlier than my friends and needed a convenient, low-cost place to stay before they arrived and we flew on to Mendoza. The Holiday Inn Express Puerto Madero was great for that. A nice, convenient location; nice, comfortable rooms; and included buffet breakfast was perfect. It is certainly not the nicest place to stay in Buenos Aires, but is certainly acceptable and easier on the wallet. If I were in the same circumstances, I would stay here again.
