I stayed for two nights, and the location could hardly be better, situated so close to the city centre. Considering the price I paid, the hotel was very good value. The room was fine, the general level of cleanliness good. However, to get only 1 hour's free WiFi is scandalous! And it didn't work - the hotel had to get a technician in just to get me access for my one hour. The management really need to consider changing this policy, because whilst I would recommend the hotel, I would always mention this factor, and I'm sure it would put many off. Also, the minibar was not restocked. Overall, however, I was quite satisfied with my stay.

We spent three nights here at the end of March. Excellent value, our room was a combination living room and bedroom so was quite spacious. Bathroom was a little cramped and lacked storage space but was serviceable for a short stay. If you use a washcloth, take your own. The whole area is rather run-down, like the city itself, but well located, we could walk to everything. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good and we would definitely recommend the hotel for its location, value and convenience.

Excelent hotel, great breakfast.
Great Location, the employees are very friendly and polite and helpful
Prices are friendly, except for the Wifi. 5€ a day they ask.
In these days 5€ a day for WIFI is outrageous.
At night its sometimes dificult to sleep, because of the noise in the streets.

Great quality, great food served mornings and lunch and flawlessly clean rooms and other areas. Some of the reception workers cold have smiled a little more, but not bad if this is the only negative comment I can make. A real bargain, will use the Rochester Group again.

Room Tip: Room at the back, lovely and quiet.

This hotel has modern decoration, it's clean and very central. I had the smallest room type, but for one or two people, it's still comfortable. It came with a/c, private bathroom, vault, fridge, flatscreen tv, breakfast and 24/7 wifi access (in a deal via a eBookers) for just 26 Euro per night. It must be said that it took a whole day before the front desk people granted me the 24/7 wifi access (the hotel gives only 1 hour access for free, and they didn't explain that nor did they check what the deal for me was), but once that was sorted out, the only backside was you needed to get a new code every 24 hrs, per device you wanted to connect. Most of the staff speak English well. Because I wasn't aware breakfast was included (my reservation said something about free lunch), I didn't use it.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quiet, the streetside is pretty busy.

Depending on the price paid I am not sure how anyone can complain about this hotel and they often have excellent deals available. The staff are first rate, the hotel is clean and has the basic needs and is excellently located. The rooms may not be ideal for all in terms of size etc but they certainly do the basic job. If you want bigger and more creature comforts then sorry, pay more and stay elsewhere! The rooms are cleaned daily, the safes work, the bed is comfortable enough, the rooms I stayed in all had very decent wifi connection and the tv operates as it should with plenty of channels to choose from. I would only say that imo it is better to get a room facing the outside of the hotel rather than the inside, especially if staying for a few days or more, it just feels a little less claustrophobic. The internet charges are made clear before booking so I don't see why people are moaning about them "after the event" and there are plenty of internet shops in the area if you want to pay less. Providing of course that guests are not being unreasonable with their requests etc, I found all the staff on the reception desk to be friendly, helpful and efficient which, given that they are often incredibly busy compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Bs As, is only a further compliment to them. The same can be said of all the staff there, the "baggage" men, those in the restaurant and the cleaners. Price/quality ratio, for me it is hard to compete with this hotel in Buenos Aires... just look for the deals (usually best at ebookers)!

Be away from this hotel, very bad location, dark rooms, bad personal, dirty and dangerous neighborhood and so many other bad things that it is better to forget this experience. One extra complain is about the way the do with internet giving you just one hour of free access and charging you something that you will never know once is not written in any paper nor any place ! ... for the same price they charge you can get much better hotel TRUE 4 star as I found in the very next day of our arrival.

Room Tip: Rooms in another hotel would be much better !
