Owner description: This fashionable, upscale neighborhood is lined with cafes, boutiques and galleries and morphs into a street fair on weekends.

Recoleta is Buenos Aires, no argue about that. A definitely must go. You'll love this safe walk around, see the buildings and check the many cafes in the neighbourhood. If you have a nice shoe, just walk. Av. Alvear and Callao are very nice. Five stars since when you go to a new city you want to see what's typical about it. You'll get that from Recoleta!

The Recoleta is good for a 30 minute stop. There are mausoleums dating back 100 years with the top Argentina political figures. The bazaar the operates out in front is much more worthwhile. Many people selling hand made crafts and a beautiful park to enjoy the day.

The architecture and variety of the mausoleums make a visit as interesting as learning about all the historical personages buried there.

We spent hours in this part of the city, it is a very safe place to walk around, meet people, go to parks, shop, grab a bite or do pretty much anything. We stopped at some cafes and enjoyed the view. We also went to the cemetery and spent a couple hours hanging out in the park. You should definitely plan to visit this part of town!

It is an area or a better class neighbourhood within the city, safer to walk on the streets than other areas and where wealthy residents choose to reside with fabulous condo's and the luxury of excellent security everywhere. The shops of this area of the city cater to the well heeled individual and the restaurants abound with the local A lists, the opportunity to eat well extends to all over the city however this particular area is much more refined and well worth time to visit,an area to find amazing things and at amazing prices……...
