“Fun place to catch your breath”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Puerto Madero is a great addition to BA. The developed area near the warehouses looks a lot like renovated dock areas of Liverpool or London. The Reserva Ecológica is a great, free place to visit with nice walks and a good view of the river, as well as excellent vistas of the city. We saw some lovely birds and a cuy (at least its bottom!) and lots of interesting plants. We visited in June. It looks like it might be a bit hot and buggy in the summer.

“Pretty view”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

My group of four ended up here on our first night in BA and enjoyed some ice cold margaritas while enjoying the view of the bridges. It's a great spot for people watching and everything stays open late.

“Great area to visit - very safe !”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Puerto Madero used to be (more than 50 years ago) a place where agricultural products targeted to be exported were stored until ships come to the port. Back in the year 1999, the government decided to rebuild this area. After few years I would consider this zone one of the best in Buenos Aires. The "rebuilding" of the area started with a couple of "docks", hosting restaurants and few companies. Today the whole Puerto Madero area is a city inside the city...... more than 30 blocks long by 10 blocks wide. Very safe ! Do not miss it !
