Not a ton to say here- this is beautiful tree lined street that connects the old palace with the congress building. It's worth a stroll from end to end. It has lots of classic French architecture that was erected when the city celebrated Argentina's centennial in the late 19th century. You really feel like you're walking around Paris on a spring day. You'll often see protests and gatherings as these are popular community congregation sites. Great area to bum around for half a day or so.

I just love the architecture, it was so beautiful and it made you look and appreciate the beauty that must have existed in the 1920s to 1950s. It is sad that most of the buildings need major maintenance, and that the country is not doing so well economically. I hope one day all the buildings will be restored and Buenos Aires will shine again as it is truly a beautiful city.

great architecture on Avenida de Mayo and some of the oldest coffee houses in the city. Great for strolling and people watching.

The best street for Parisian-style architecture. Perfect street for a sunset walk after some wine. Walk from end to end. They don't make buildings like this anymore. Enjoy!

Very historic wide avenue with lots to see and do, including many protests. The buildings and sights are quite impressive, especially when open. The end of the Avenida is the case rosada. Very impressive, but under renovation and no tours that day
