“Perfect layover in BA!”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

This is a wonderful hotel for my weekend getaway in Buenos Aires! Despite being a relatively small hotel, It has all the essential amenities like breakfast, sauna, and even a very nice jacuzzi! Beautiful rooftop patio above the 8th floor. It's in the chic Palermo district and it's fairly close to the Aeroparque airport (although the cab ride seems to cost more than it may seem based on apparent distance on a map). However, there were some minor details in my room that they need to fixed: the bathtub coating had been chipped, the window blinds were stuck, and the safe deposit wouldn't open completely because the door was blocked underneath the desk.

This hotel was GREAT. It was a little kooky and weird because they have a purple theme throughout the entire hotel (including hallways, elevator, etc., literally everything is purple), but it was done in a fun way, the hotel was spotless and perfectly clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have a hot tub on the roof that could be reserved in 30 minute time slots so we did that on the last night and it was really nice.

The hotel literally could not be in a better location. It's right between Recoleta and Palermo, about 15 - 20 minutes from all the restaurants and bars in Palermo. It's close to metros and bus stops (we used both on our trip) and in a very safe area, we went walking around every night and felt perfectly safe and never had any problems.

My only complaint was that the bathroom had a pane of glass instead of a solid wall for the part facing the room. It was a little strange because then you can obviously see into the bathroom if someone else is in there. It was just my boyfriend and I so we just had a laugh about it and occupied ourselves while the other was in there. Besides that the place was just delightful, very clean (I always mention cleanliness in my reviews because it is the most important thing for me in a hotel), and a nice place to relax after a long day of sightseeing in beautiful BA.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone - it is a great place to stay in Buenos Aires!

We checked in Infinito and were really happy about it's location and room. Our happiness suddenly went out the window when we discovered the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned and there were blood stains on the sheets (very clear and fresh ones).
Breakfast was OK.
Now, one of their receptionists who wouldn't greet a simple "Good morning" when arriving to her shift, roll her eyes (or have unwelcome facial expressions) when we entered the hotel or stepped out of the elevator or pose a sarcastic "you can make phone calls from your room" when asked to please double check a spa appointment, SHOULD BE REMINDED THAT HAVING A JOB IS A BLESSING, and that others would feel lucky to have a salary every month. Her name is Rocío, don't get confused, the rest of the staff was incredibly nice!
One more thing, if you are not Argentinian, you might as well just find yourself a good online deal, for the rules are (even if in Argentina itself that's considered discrimination, which is punishable by law) IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER, YOU PAY MORE.

Estimada Adriana87,

We´ve spent the night with my brother for his last night as a bachelor, and it was amazing.
And endless back and forth from the sauna to the yacuzzi helped us get to that special day in the most relaxed way possible.
The room was also amazing, very comfortable, the bed was great, and the guys at the hotel (everyone) are always helpfull and very friendly.
Breakfast is a must at Infinito, really enjoyed it!!!
Great experience there guys, I recommend the place!

we stayed at the Infinito for two weeks; we wanted a place suitably close to the National Library (a 20 minute walk) and to downtown (20-25 minutes by subte, line D, to Catedral); and it proved a very good choice. At first sight it is not very prepossessing; it's in a pretty average Palermo street, nothing special or picturesque; the exterior is not up to much (though I liked the purple/mauve woollen cladding on the trees outside - purple/mauve is the hotel's house colour). The lobby is also quite small, hence can on occasions seem crowded. However, there are plenty of pluses: the rooms, though on the small side, are done in pleasant minimalist white and are very clean and well-kept; the wi-fi generally works, as does the plumbing (we had one brief glitch; normally there was ample hot water); the buffet breakfast - with fresh fruit, cereal, bread, croissants, pastries - is very good; and the staff are both friendly and efficient. All this for about $60 (£40) a night B and B (for two sharing a room), at the 'blue dollar' (dolar azul) exchange rate, which is not at all bad for close-to-downtown BA. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, as well as an all-important cambio on Scalabrini Ortiz and Guemes, 5 minutes away (look for the 'oro' sign); this saves a trip to Florida.

Room Tip: water pressure seemed better on the 3rd than than the 7th floor; also, there's choice between ro...

It's one of those hotels that some entrepreneur decide out of the blue to make a hotel from a old house building, and some how it works, the service is good, the lobby's decoration is cheap, but functional, it's a shame that the wi fi was bad on my room it depends of the floor the wifi you get pair flours are good
