We are a young British couple (both 29) and thought the Madero was a perfect BA overnight stop.

Atmosphere
Funky, trendy, minimalist. Great location near restaurants and bars of Porto Madero.

Rooms
We had a Deluxe room which was above expectations (especially for only US 219 p/n). Private balcony, small seated area separated from the bed with a large TV cabinet. Room felt spacious and modern.

Service
Overall excellent. The concierge (Sebastian) gave us some great tips about where to go for dinner (steaks at Cabana Las Lilas) and then tango (El Viejo Almacen - absolutely fantastic, top tip splash out for "VIP" and they will put you right in the front row with a bottle of champagne for an extra $20pp). All of the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and most of them spoke excellent English.

Random tips
Wifi connection is 50 pesos per 24 hours ($5)
Breakfast was good and had buffet style eggs, bacon, chorizo, french toast and a full continental offering
Roughly 25-30 min drive from both international and domestic airport

Well recommended ideal location in great part of Buenos Aires. Very modern but full of class. Staff excellent and helpful. Plenty of good places to eat and drink nearby to suit all tastes and safe to go out at night. Excellent size bedrooms which were quiet and peaceful because away from traffic.

An individual hotel which was perfect in every way.

Based in Puerto Madero, the safest, cleanest and newest part of Buenos Aries. Great staff who provide excellent service.

My room included a mini kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. I did not use the pool or spa facilities on the ninth floor, but apparently they are gorgeous.

Modern style in most modern part of Buenos Aires - Puerto Madero. We had spacious room with balcony, good service in reception, lobby and restaurant, nice view, near fashion restaurants and bars. Very safe to walk around.

Room Tip: Rooms with view to docks.

Really lovely hotel set in the heart of Puerto madero which is a bit like docklands in London with its fabulous apartments, parks and gardens and many very good and excellent cafés and restaurants. It's very safe to walk around this district with lots of enthusiastic joggers, roller skaters and, like us, strollers. The hotel offers view over the river, side river views which also have a distant sea view, some offer garden view. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We have room 809 which is the top floor for accommodation with the swimming pool above us on the 9th...

We stayed here 2 night post cruise - we had stayed in other "chain" hotels before but wanted to try a boutique style here. What a lovely hotel, super spacious room and spotless. Very nice pool area on the roof. Great area to walk around and try all the super restaurants. Never felt uncomfortable in this district. The whole lobby area is welcoming and has a bar and coffee bar, as well as a nice outdoor seating area. Would absolutely stay here again.

When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires.
