We stayed there for one night and we loved it. I believe is the most modern hotel in BsAs. The room was great and the service also is very good. The only reason that does not get 5 is because I didn't like the breakfast. I was surprise that they didn't have an omelet station like all other hotels in that category. The location was great also.

This fashion hotel is well and convenient located at Puerto Madero (south side – San Telmo’s direction). There you will stay at the newest Buenos Aire’s neighborhood: modern building style, great restaurants, safe place and few steps from Puerto Madero. For reaching the more visited spots in BsAs you are gonna need a cab (for example: 20 minutes from Recoleta) but it not be expensive neither far. The Hotel itself is clean, quiet environment and very prepared staff (English spoken). The rooms are modern and the breakfast is lovely. The restaurant offers a rich food and drinks, but quite expensive. In my opinion, wifi connection could be free (it is USD 10/day) – its not so expensive, but the hotel rates are no the cheapest you will find. It’s an option for a weekend in Buenos Aires.

Can't fault this place other than having to pay for wifi. The clientele a bit snooty but then I guess it is to be expected based on the price - expensive in comparison to most hotels in BA

Staff were excellent - breakfast and everything else terrific

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Madero, very relaxing with big rooms and comfy beds. My only problem was them charging you for wifi usage on top of what is a very expensive room! I have never heard of this before at a higher end hotel and it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in June 2014. Location is in Poarto Madero, nice quite clean and safe area of BA. walking distance from many restaurants and places to see. the check in was flawless, staff English is very good and all the service is polite ans efficient. After checkout they send me a mail asking about something i left in my room and stated it will be in their storage until I will tell them what to do with it. exactly what you expect from a business hotel. My room was big and comfortable, internet works good
Downsides - bad noise control, you can hear your neighbor opens and close his door and the gym is a bit small.
The meeting rooms and food at the 5 day meetings i had done there were very well managed by the Hotel business center
all in all very good!!

Room Tip: take the rooms at the end of the corridor, less noisy

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in the first week of June, 2014. Reception was friendly and fast, we arrived early and the hotel receptionist provided us a deposit space for our luggage, so we could explore the surroundings before coming back for check-in, which we did a couple of hours earlier than anticipated. After check-in, we were taken to our room, where the boy taking our luggage explained us some of the restaurants and surrounding things to do, by pointing them out the balcony (which, as expected, had city view).

The deluxe room was spacious, modern, comfortable and very clean. The king size bed and the comfortable sheets were also nice and new. From the hotel room, the only thing that could have been improved is the shower box - the glass does not completely close the door/bathtub, so you sometimes get the floor a bit wet. Other than that, I would also hope for ventilation in the bathroom, since it has no windows. The other minor thing would be to have soap/shampoo holders in the shower. Both comments are minor and did not interfere in our pleasant stay.

Breakfast has a good variety of fresh fruits, breads, eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, etc. It does not change everyday, which personally does not bother me, but I often see that people praise variety.

Location is good, in the very nice neighborhood of Puerto Madero. It is not so close to subway stations, although it only takes a very nice 30 minute walk alongside the harbor to reach Casa Rosada, where three subway lines meet and can take virtually anywhere in Buenos Aires.

Staff is really incredible. Every need we had was accommodated elegantly and efficiently. We ordered in some Empanadas and staff was really nice in keeping an eye open for when it arrived and calling us in our room. We also needed ice in our room, which was easy to get and everyday we got a bucket of ice in our room. Staff also provided us with a taxi to go to Ezeiza at a fair price (300 pesos, tolls included). Cheers for the friendly staff!

Check out also went smoothly, so this is a 5 star review for this hotel, despite the bathroom suggestions.

Room Tip: City view is a nice to have!

When Hotel Madero was being designed, we wanted it to reflect the style and sophistication of the Puerto Madero neighborhood we call home.At Hotel Madero one of the main challenges with the design of our hotel in Buenos Aires was to be able to incorporate functional diversity with space unity, to provide for flexible usage of the space and to integrate each area easily.Hotel Madero Buenos AiresThe Argentine studio Abulafia Figoni Prado was hired to do the interior design of our hotel in Buenos Aires. The project incorporates current and evolving spaces, places where people really want to stay and to feel comfortable in their environs. The intention was to design a hotel in Buenos Aires with atmosphere, generating a rich interior architecture through a suggestive way of illumination, and combining rich materials and textures so that each of the spaces has its own identity. The acquisition of the contemporary art is also very significant. Paintings and sculptures were incorporated, most of them from local artists ... more   less
