This is not a bad hotel, it is simply extremely basic. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny.
Everything is clean and the front desk personnel are very friendly.
For me, the biggest problem was the church in front of the street, which start to ring the bells at 7 am every 15 minutes.... so if you want to have a placid morning and sleep late, consider this.

Room Tip: Check several rooms before you make up your mind.

The only positive aspect is the location: next to Plaza de Mayo. So if you are looking for a place in which to sleep only, not very nice and elegant but basic, this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel in which spend different days, with elegant and nice rooms, this is not the hotel for you.
The staff is kind and helpful, the breakfast is not very rich. Everything is basic but clean and next to the center of Buenos Aires and the subway.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. There are only 2 good things about it:
- the location, next to Florida street, Plaza San Martín, Casa Rosada and so on
- the room, the towels and the sheets in the bed were very clean, I don't have complains about it

However:
- the breakfast is poor
- the shower cabin is too small, you can barely move yourself in there and as a consequence you cannot have a decent and relaxing bath
- the walls separating the rooms are too thin. We could listen everything that the guys in the room next side were talking about. And when they got late in the night and we were sleeping already, we would wake up with their noise. We had to turn the AC on just to minimize the noise coming from the other room.
- the guy who was at the reception desk most of the time was not very nice to us. One night we asked him where we could buy water, and he didn't want to explain and just told us to buy it from the hotel bar

Anyway, for the price we payed, I believe we could find something better.

If you plan on visiting the city, and just need a place to sleep and shower, this hotel will do the trick. It's in a pretty good location. A lot of the tourist attractions are within walking distance, a hippy fair nearby where the local artists display their crafts, as well as stores and malls.

There is nothing fancy about this hotel, and the staff reminded me of a bunch of college kids doing an internship. A few of them seemed unhappy to be there. In the rooms, everything is small, but everything worked (couldn't figure out why there was no light near the stand where the suitcase sat on).

The breakfast buffet is very meager, with cereal, croissants (great), toast, juice, coffee (horrid), but it was enough to start the day with and then hit some of the great restaurants for lunch.

There is free internet (two computers), and wi-fi.

Again, nothing wrong with this hotel if you just need a place to crash.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful but could not speak English well. The hotel was around the corner from Plaza de Mayo making it a very centralized location. It is situated near a couple of subte (subway) lines and it was easy to hail a cab. The breakfast could have been better considering the price. The daily fair was croissaint, cereal, some fruit, and toast. The rooms were spotless and the tile floors were mopped daily, but as you can see from the photo the stall shower was tiny. It was challenging to shower as soap and shampoo would get knocked over every time you moved. Otherwise, if you are on a budget this is a great option.
