Casa Las Canitas Hotel Boutique

I have stayed in several hotels in Buenos AIres, and this is the friendliest, nicest one. It is one block off of Baez St, which has amazing restaurants and nightlife. It is also easy to get to AEP (a 5 minute taxi ride) for domestic flights. The staff is amazingly helpful, accomodating, friendly, and attentive. Yes, the rooms are small, but you have everything you need. The lounge and courtyard are comfortable. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend to all my friends!
Did I mention that you get a free glass of wine on your first night?

During our visit to Buenos Aires we stayed at Casa Las Canitas for six nights and could have not wanted for more. The rooms were immaculately clean and kept that way by a small, hard working and friendly staff. This is a boutique hotel and has a very homey and comfortable atmosphere. It is not far from the bus lines and subway D line which both will get you into downtown Buenos Aires. Monica and Fernanda are proud of their city and made every effort to help us enjoy our stay in Buenos Aires and supplied much information and many suggestions. The small district of Las Canitas, just on the outskirts of Palermo, is very nice with lots of very good restaurants and nightlife. Unless one is wanting for greater amenities such as might be found in a large, fancy hotel, I see no need to look elsewhere than Casa Las Canitas

Casa Las Canitas provided a unique hotel experience for my daughter and I. With just 9 rooms,it has a very comfortable, and home-like feel to it. The lobby is lovely~also a nice dining area where a delicious breakfast is served~ an outdoor couryard~and spacious rooms. The entire place is spotless. Monica and her staff are friendly and most helpful with restaurant suggestions and guiding tourists in the right direction. It is very safe as guests must buzz to enter, so non- guests cannot wander in. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely little boutique hotel and I would return in a heartbeat!!

Of all the hotels we stayed in this was our absolute favorite. Fernanda, you're the best! :)
In fact, all the staff were great, hospitable, offered wine, great company, and a quiet and quaint very cute place for us to stay. We had the downstairs room and it was like our own private little romantic dungeon. The entire boutique hotel is very cute and the price was shockingly low for the quality. We met the owner and a few other travelers there, and everyone was in the same page at casa las canitas--relaxed, serene, private, and friendly.

We recently stayed at Casa Las Canitas for 3 days while visiting my friend who was living in BA. Casa Las Canitas is a pure gem: a beautiful boutique B&B/hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. We arrived before check-in time, exhausted from an overnight flight, and they generously upgraded us to a larger room on the top floor. The room was tastefully-decorated, cozy, comfortable, spacious, and very clean…with a rooftop terrace across the hallway for our use. The first-floor, lobby area of Casa Las Canitas is complete with a sitting area, large TV, fully stocked library of travel guides for perusing, small bar, sunny breakfast room, garden area, and 2 computers with free internet. The wonderful owner, Monica, would spend time with her guests in this area throughout the day and early evening, which lent a great home-y feel to the space. Monica, Juan, Eliana, and all of the other staff not only welcomed us warmly, but they went out of their way to help us navigate around the city, find the best restaurants, and make Casa Las Canitas feel like our home away from home. I am so glad we stayed here and cannot wait to return.

My wife and I traveled with another couple and stayed in Casa Las Canitas recently. Monica and staff treated us so well that it felt like home. We were scheduled to take a late flight back to the US. The hotel not only allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout but they also gave us access to take showers before heading to the airport., all for no charge. That evening there was an incredible flash flood in BA. There was no way that taxis could get to the airport so Monica helped us reschedule with free long distance calls, translation, etc. She then cleaned out two lower rooms that had some water issues with the flood and let us stay there until we could get flights out the next evening. During this time she also furnished us with snacks, free wine, and marvelous hospitality.
Try to find this kind of help in other hotels. This is truly a great find in BA and I would recommend it without hesitation.
