First of all this is not a hotel - it's an apart hotel, in other words, there's no room service, no breakfast and apparently the staff does not speak English. On the other hand, the room are large and very clean - visit their website and check it up, http://www.callaosuites.com/. The neighbourhood is unbeatable - lots of cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, banks, cafés notables, bookshops and tons of shops. Some hints:
El Ateneo Grand Splendid - according to the Guardian the second most beautiful bookstore in the world
For you breakfast - Babieca
Pizzas - El Cuartito
Shops - Isadora (accessories)
Supermarket - Carrefour (nice selection of wines)
Café notable - Clasica y Moderna
Well. I've been there twice, and I planning to go back in October.
