“Good meal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 July 2014

What we ordered they were out of and made a replacement without telling us so we got something we didn't like, other than that, the meal was good and the view/seating was fun especially on a Sunday. I thought it was a little overpriced, they charged us $17 pesos to split a dish.

“A Gem in San Telmo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

A fantastic find in the middle of San Telmo. Onion soup, risotto and steak tartar were the favorites of the evening. A great treat after eating so much Parilla in Buenos Aires. Attentive and thoughtful staff that treated our children as young adults. Also a choice of fries or salad for the children's dishes was a hit with my leaf eaters! We'll definitely bring friends here!

“Fantastic combination of France and Greenwich Village”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 June 2014

I've traveled extensively in France and lived in New York for 25 years. We walked into Pétanque and I thought I had been transported to one of my favorite French restaurants in Greenwich Village, a little gem called "Provence". We were a party of seven, so I got to taste a lot of different things. First off, loved the expertly prepared Bombay martini up with a twist. That order often gets lost in translation in Argentina, but not here. Perfect. Great onion soup, delicious carpaccio, excellent pate plate. Chateaubriand and lamb chops were delicious. Niçoise salad excellent with REAL anchovies. All topped off by a delicious creme brûlée sampler. Owner Pascal could not have been more warm and charming. I will seek it out next time in B. A.

“Great food and great service”

This was the first place we eat after arriving in BA, and the owner could clearly tell we had no clue what we were doing and was very helpful. Got us off to a perfect start.

Came here on our first day in BA and had the steak tartare...absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly. The owner is named Pascal and he is super nice and speaks English. Highly recommended.
