This is a terrific boutique hotel in the heart of Palermo Soho. The rooms are comfortable and chic and the staff is sweet and accommodating. The communal seating areas and patio are comfortable and well designed. The location can't be beat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our one night stay here, which was our second stay in Buenos Aires on this trip, being on the return leg home.

The hotel, has an excellent large drawing room come library and also a small patio to have a drink in. Both were very peaceful and relaxing which was very welcoming after the bustle of a day sightseeing. We stayed in the First Lady room which was spacious and made a nice change from the corporate image of the various hotel chains. The room was more luxurious than the one we stayed in at the sister hotel in Salta - the web site pictures are accurate. The bed was very comfortable and we slept with the windows open and did not encounter any noise issues.
As others have said the breakfasts are not extensive but for the size of hotel they are more than adequate. The staff could not have been more helpful and added to the stay.

Would I stay here again - I think it would be dictated to where I would be spending most of my time. On the first stay we were more central in Recoleta, which I think is a more ideal location for the main city centre tourist attractions. However, for Palermo and the main city parks this is a better choice. Palermo itself is a lively and bustling area and worth spending a day exploring.

We stayed here when we came back to the city after a visit to Iguazu. It was lovely seeing a different neighborhood up close and if you're keen to do some shopping, the location really couldn't be better. In fact, it was so central we walked everywhere except back from dinner.

The hotel is small, with only 11 rooms, and is decorated in a whimsical and eclectic style. The rear courtyard was the perfect place for a morning coffee or sun-downer, and breakfast was plentiful (at least for those not desperate for a Full English...). We stayed in a El Pintor, a front-facing beautifully decorated room with a little balcony. Despite the aspect we slept really well and didn't feel disturbed at all by any passing noise from the street.

The staff were all lovely and really make this place.

The start of our journey through Argentina, Patagonia to Santiago in Chile.

A good boutique hotel although the metal fire door to our room was disconcerting.

We got used to frequent changes in clients with new faces every breakfast time. Breakfast was a buffet with good range of cold foods with a rather more limited hot scrambled egg and sausage each day.

We found food and restaurants locally a little daunting and the change in diet to the meat rich Argentinian Palette took a little time to adapt to.

The local range of shops and markets meets most needs.

The city of Buenos Aires provides everything a tourist needs although traffic can be horrific, best left to local taxis, able to squeeze through the smallest of gaps and change lanes with impunity!

Currency can be a problem with poor official rates of exchange from the banks. US Dollars are sometimes well received but need negotiated best rates to get the best value for your money.

The common areas and service are outstanding; the rooms comfortable. It was a bit noisy, as small hotels often are. The best feature is the location which is in the middle of the Palermo district which is the most interesting part of Buenos Aires.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor, away from the street.

I just spent four nights in this very nice, very cosy and very stylish boutique hotel. Excellent located in a quiet street in the middle of Palermo Soho next to nice restaurants and trendy stores. The service, the bed (also the bed linen!) are great. I think a passion for detail characterize the persons behind this hotel: they want to offer an excellent experience and they succeed!

We stayed here for three nights at the end of our South American trip and found the hotel perfect in every way except for the breakfast that was very limited and could have been outside in a really quite lovely courtyard at the rear of the hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in The Writer, this is at the front of the hotel so it has a little road noise but it does...
