Arriving in Tigre we had an idea that we would like a boat trip, but didn't know where to go. Luckily we met Fer, who was talking to another couple, who couldn't afford the boat trip by themselves. Quickly we found out, that we could share a boat no matter that we didn't speak the same language, but only had English in common, and Fer speaks English as well! The boat trip is not cheap, but really worth the money as you can go into canals and rivers where the bigger boats can't go. Fer stops the boat when you want to take photos or get more information about the whole area, which truely is in his heart. You also just tell him if you need a pit-stop for something to drink, eat or a toilet.
The boat is a rubber dinghy for max 6 adults + Fer. We had the best day with about 4½ hours sightseeing and also time for a glass of wine in one of the small river bars.
Don't buy an expensive excursion from the agencies in Buenos Aires, but take " the tren de la costa", meet Fer and go on this great boat excursion instead!
