Its a nice place, the best thing about it is the gothic-style church across the street. Beautiful, breathtaking church.

It is a place full of life. The fountains are beautiful surrounded by a green park ,with the mystic ex women jail converted into a place with bars, music under the frame of the Capuchinos church (beautiful Gotic church ).The place is the meeting point for many youngsters. It is also a photograph spot for girls celebrating their 15 years old birthday and many brides.Nice place to visit and enjoy. The water fountains "dance" with music every hour. The best time to visit is at night.
great place to take a walk and drink a bottle of wine specially at night or sunset! you can't miss it
This former women's prison is now a cultural centre for Cordoba's young artists; there is an attached chapel. The art work on display is definitely not my scene and the chapel is eerie. There are a couple of nice little coffee bars. Outside there are beautiful water features and the nighttime illuminatio of the building is quite beautiful (as it is on many of Cordoba's buildings). Don't miss the fantastic reflection of this place on the glass-fronted building across the street. The most positive thing about El Paseo Buen Pastor is that it is only about a 5 minute walk uphill to the much more appealing Palacio Ferrerya.
The "Buen Pastor" used to be a prison for women.
Centrally located in Cordoba, it was decommissioned, the inmates relocated, even the Catholic Church existing there lost its status.
After that commercial interest took place.
Almost nothing remains of the old prison, unlike, for example "Punta Carretas" in Montevideo.
What you will find there? Extremely expensive restaurants (not worth), clothing stores....and that's about it.
Could be done a lot better.
For people born and raised in Cordoba, the Buen Pastor is a shame
