Have just had a great 3 days at Molino la Tebaida. The property is beautiful and a really nice place to take a break from a hectic travel schedule. A huge thank you to Isabel and Miguel (and family!) who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful during our stay. The restaurant at the property is really good and their recommendation to go out for a lunch to Bodega Familia Zaccardi was right on the money. Muchos gracias!

We had an amazing stay at Molina La Tebaida. Travelling with my husband, mother and 1 year old daughter. Isobel and her family could not have been more accommodating, and we had such a relaxing and stress-free stay. All of Isobels recommendations were spot-on. She and her husband even threw an asado for us one night. Charming place to stay if you are looking for somewhere slightly off the beaten track. Surrounding wineries were fabulous.

We stayed in many lovely places during our 4 week roundtrip through the North of Argentina, but this was the place where we felt so at home. Our host Isabela, who is the owner together with her husband, made us feel truly welcome, almost as if we were friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time. What we especially liked about Molino la Tabeida is that it is not fancy or extremely luxurious, the rooms are quite small but very clean and romantic, the posada is cosy, warm, clean and very chill. So if you are planning to visit the wine region, skip Mendoza, take a taxi to San Martin - which is quite boring - and discover this true gem. You are just a 20 minute drive from the most beautiful bodega's and Isabela will help you out with arranging all that. She even ordered us a pretty delicious pizza when we felt like having that, but also prepared us a great lunch with the best wines we've had during our stay. In other words, lovely place, lovely host, lovely stay!

On our roundtrip in Argentina we went to San Martin/ Mendoza - the wine district. We took the bus from Buenos Aires to San Martin (ask the busdriver to stop before Mendoza). We enjoyed our stay in the posada Molino la Tebaida, San Martin very much as it was nice and quiet - just what we needed after a few days in BA.

If you're in for a few days in peaceful environment this is the place. There is a small swimming pool where you can have a dip if the weather is too hot.

The owner Isabella was very helpful and friendly. She helped us with transportation and arranged wine tours as well as a trip to the mountains for us.

All in all, we had a good time and we felt like home.

Very friendly owners, a big garden with a pool. A great place to relax. There are some small bodega's around where we did some winetasting. If you are looking for a nice place to relax this is the place to go.

The restaurant is now closed but will reopen in march 2013.

Room Tip: If you are planning to go to the big bodega's its better to stay in maipu. I would advise to go...

Lazy days by the pool, delicious food in the restaurant, cool evenings in the garden...Molino la Tebaida really is an oasis in the desert. Charming, comfortable rooms opening onto a private patio with luscious plants, excellent coffee and breakfast served by Isabel who will also book any tours you want in the area. Top notch service in a relaxed and super private atmosphere, you won't want to leave! This place is not to be missed.

Our visit to Molino la Tebaida in January 2012 was the third time we visited this finca since our first visit to Argentina in 2006. This latest visit has been as marvellous as the first two times. Molino la Tebaida is a small finca in the small town of San Martin, some 30 kms from Mendoza. It is situated at the edge of town, surrounded by vineyards and open spaces. The setting of the finca is great, it contains a guesthouse section with small but comfortable rooms, a small court yard and a main section in which a very good restaurant is located. Also on the premises is a small olive oil factory. In the backyard there is a swimming pool and everywhere are places to sit and relax. The whole scenery is 'ferrytale' like. The owners are Isabel and Miguel, a Spanish/ Argentine couple who are easy going and invite you to live the 'campo' life'. Molino de Tebaida is a very special place to us and a great place to spend a couple of days, relax and explore the Mendoza wine region. We are hoping we can come back a fourth time!
