My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights.

We're staying in a mix of hostels and B&Bs in South America, in this price range (just to give you an idea of our expectations- we're not super skint back packers but not extravagant either, just something in between),

Pros:
- good location near town, about 20 min walk
- Anna on reception was really helpful - we know virtually no Spanish!
- free wine 7-8pm every day. Yes really.
- good kitchen facilities - with utensils to cook, gas cookers, microwaves, shared fridge freezer
- we had a private ensuite and the shower was the best we've had in Brazil and Argentina including Buenos Aires. Scalding hot water. But we heard complaints from other travellers there that the shared shower was poor.
- pretty good breakfast - coffee, bread, sweet croissant, freshly made crepes, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, juice
- nice and social but not a party hostel
- free washing machine to use
- quite cheap, we paid £15 per night for a double en suite
- let us stay in the lounge on the day of check out it wait for our evening bus with free locker use including lock
- offered daily activities for various prices including all you can eat bbq for 90 pesos, trek half day with good views for 220 pesos, horse riding for over 400 pesos (we only did the trek which was a bit overpriced but not a bad way to spend a morning) .
- good wifi connectivity and strength with two free computer terminals to use
- ten to fifteen minute walk from supermarket
- has a lounge with TV
- can pay deposits for a bus card 20 pesos, and towels 30 pesos additional.
-

Cons:
- really uncomfortable bedding and terrible sheets (itchy).
- pretty old and basic room but for the price it was fine
- got a bit noisy at night on a few occasions but this was just some inconsiderate people talking outside our room

Overall we really enjoyed it here!

Very nice hostel, clean and spacious, we stayed in room 10 which is very big, we heard other double rooms are very small, the showers are pretty bad, there is no pressure and it is very hot or cold, they are very clean same as the kitchen. The lounge area is nice the couches are a bit old and weird. The best part of the hostel is the breakfast what was one of the best I had so far, pancakes, omelets and nice bread rolls.

All by all very nice stay and I would definitely recommend this place.

Incredible vibe at this hostel, all the staff is super duper friendly and helpful, and the amenities are great. I would stay here for ages if I could, really makes you feel like you're at home. Happy hour free wine from 7-8 always gets the blood pumping!

This place was incredible. for the same price as any other hostel, the breakfast here includes pancakes, omelettes, boiled eggs, sweet pastries, orange slices, and all the rest of the things you'd expect. There's free wine for all who stay at the hostel every night from 7-8pm, and the place is kept very clean. the only minor negative is that it seems like bathrooms were an afterthought..they're very clean but quite small and in random places in the hostel. It's got an amazing outdoor terrace with swing seats and a barbecue and all in all it's just a really COOL place to be.

the people in it when we were there were all fellow travellers from europe, and our group tripled in size by the time we checked out. Anna at the reception is incredibly helpful, and their organized activities are well researched, well priced, and the staff are very enthusiastic.

You need to stay here. But book early because they are ALWAYS full.

I stayed here in late April and really enjoyed my stay. As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed the combination of activities (bbq was amazing) but also the ability to relax by yourself.
While there were a few pipe issues (because the building is older), the staff certainly made up for it. Common areas and bathrooms were all clean, hostel was secure, breakfast was awesome (loved the crepes!) and staff were so friendly and helpful. Washing machine was also a HUGE plus.

We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. We arrived and were treated by Anna who was so friendly and helpful. Right from when we walked in we felt at home. The place is really spacious, although the bathrooms are a little dinky. Breakfast was amazing and Claudia makes the best crepes and omelettes. They have loads of tours and activities on offer, we did the empanada course which was great fun and value for money. A great spot to meet people and to enjoy the town of Mendoza.

Had a grea time here, most of the staff were friendly, they have a TV room, sun lounge, washing machine for you to use free, they have activities like a barbeque and overall it was a good place. They did however not put sheets on several beds, not change them, they had water tank problems as well and not all the showers were good. Breakfast is pretty amazing though. I did like the shelves with sockets they put there for each bed, makes sleeping on the top bunk much better.
