We stayed in Puerto Canoas for two nights along with another couple while visiting the Iguazu Falls.
We feel that the hotel was a good choice since we did not intend to spend time there and we were gone to the waterfalls during the day. There is not much to do/see in the town but they have some decent restaurants (see my other reviews) and since the hotel is in town it was easy walking everywhere.
Overall the rooms were clean, but very basic. This is the first hotel we ever stayed in where there was no TV in the room; but who is to watch TV when you have the beautiful falls… The only reason I mention this is for people with kids along or Spanish-speaking visitors might want to have access to TV. At the reception area they had a TV and also complimentary PCs with free Internet. The breakfast was OK with small pastries and fresh fruits to help you not go hungry exploring. They also sell water, soft drinks and beer on premises. The pool was nice and clean. The staff, although not speaking much English, was friendly and tried to be helpful when approached in my halting Spanish.
They do NOT accept credit cards and even if you thought that your bill would be covered by your credit card reservation (via a travel site), you will still have to make cash only payment at checkout.
Overall Puerto Canoas is a good budget hotel.

Room Tip: They do not accept Credit Cards!

staff was very friendly, it's rather a backpacker hostel, room is small, basic place, wi-fi is free and worked very well, the room was clean, bed very uncomfortable with a worn out matress. The breakfast was nice with fresh juice. Overall the stay was okay but in my opinion it's too expensive for what it offers

This was a perfectly fine hotel with everything that could be required, although if you're looking for luxury best to go elsewhere. The rooms are basic and all at ground floor level but are clean and staff are friendly. The pool is tiny, the facilities minimal and the air conditioning noisy...it really depends on what you're looking for. If it's somewhere basic to lay your head at the end of a hard day trekking around the falls, this is perfect, but if you want to treat yourself, perhaps not.

Puerto Canoas is located slightly offtrack but still only 5 min walk from downtown. It is quite small hotel, but you have all necessary facilities, including wi-fi, TV, little swimming pool and a small restaurant (food is prepared upon request). They have even 2 computers available in the lounge. Although staff speaks very limited English, they are extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are small but clean and air-conditioned.

The room is verrry small, the bed is more like to one person rather than two (double) bed. Although the lines were clean they aren't in their best shape an should be changed ! Poor breakfast! In general the place is over priced !! There are much cheaper and better places in argentina than this one

But there are also few ok things,
The staff was helpful and helped us to change shuttles etc... The location is very close to the city center (bus station) and the wifi is good in public places and ok- in the rooms
