This was the best meal I ever had - in Paris it would cost a bomb but in Puerto it was affordable. Fantastic presentation and lots of palate cleansers and extra touches. We wish we had stayed in the hotel as well.

This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms, chair and beds are small and not comfortable, and the plumbing is not up to modern standards. There is air conditioning, which is greatly appreciated since this is the tropics. The bathroom is clean and the fixtures modern, but the plumbing is not up to the job. But it is clear that the owner is a treasure and this is a neat place to stay. The public areas are memorable. Everything is very artistically done. If you are game for a authentic Latin American experience, this is a place you will remember as a high point in your travels. The food and service at the restaurant are wonderful!

We found this hotel by complete accident when we were trying to escape the Raices Esturion hotel one evening. We stopped for dinner here and immediately asked if there were any rooms for us to stay in - we moved out of the Raices and into here first thing the next day. It was the best decision we could have made.

Simona the owner is a one woman hospitality machine, she serves you drinks, books you taxis & tours, brings you towels and is the back bone of the hotel. Her very talented husband is the chef and both the food and wine were fantastic.

This hotel is welcome oasis is a sea of faceless hotels who don't deserve their stars.

Room Tip: We were in Orange and the hot tub was right outside the front door.

This boutique is just off the beaten path in a kind of residential area. Once the gate is opened up for you it's a large property that is stunning and peaceful. There are two spas and a pool. A wonderful breakfast (though it lacked protein) in an outdoor sitting area that is a part of a high end Italian restaurant at night. The younger gentlemen who helped us several times spoke perfect English and went out of his way to help us. The owners both work on site and are absolutely fabulous. Two thumbs up!

A small charming family run hotel with welcoming and helpful staff and a superb restaurant. Basic no frills rooms in a courtyard setting with a shady pool and lots of outdoor seating. Staff gave good no pressure advice on access to the falls and you would do well to follow their suggestions. We would visit this hotel for the dinner food alone, it was gastronomy of the highest standard.
