“Nice place, good location”
Reviewed 13 August 2013

I stayed there in october 2011. Nice place, big apartments, good location. Unfortunately the popular Jacuzzi (aside the pool) was not properly working, but the pool was ok (even when you reach the other end in 7 arm strokes). NO CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED, be aware of this.

Room Tip: When you pay, check that they give you a REAL official payment invoice (not only a simple print in a...

Impressions gained from Tripadvisor before staying...large apartment, location not so great, some complaints, cheap but grin and bear it...
What I discovered by staying two nights. At check in, we had a great English speaker with helpful information about things to do and restaurants, but every time I went back to reception, there was a different person, some with no English at all, and questionable customer service, but they still tried to be helpful. The jacuzzi was NOT heated. Free, bottled drinking water available near the pool, but you have to look for it, not prominently displayed. Room was large and comfortable, but the master bedroom in Room #1 has a water leakage problem from above/outside gutter, with a rather strong musty smell. Didn't bother me, but it was a real issue with my wife. Breakfast basic, with limited options, but you get what you pay for! Roosters/dogs a little noisy but that's true for most of South America. Kitchen very nice, but we ate out at the very reasonably priced restaurants we found on Tripadvisor, esp. Jasy's Bar..close by and HIGHLY recommened..you MUST GO!. The hotel owner also highly recommended them! Hotel very close to town..a few minutes walk! Room/facilities all fine.much better than expected! Remember to take CASH! NOT overpriced..unlike most properties in Peurto Igazu. Don't expect first class service and you won't be disappointed! Recommended!

Room Tip: Avoid Rm #1 if you are mildew sensitive!

Booked this hotel with a credit card, and when we checked in they said we do not take credit cards that we would have to pay in cash. Its hard to get 2000 pesos from an ATM. If we would of known before we got there we would have planned better. Also taxes for the stay were $80 American dollars. Extra that we were not expecting at check out. They were not included in the price quote we got. Room was adequate and clean. Breakfast was also adequate.

Very nice neighborhood feel. Everybody was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located within walking distance to the bus stop, a great Italian restaurant down the street, a micro beer pub, and a couple of convenience stores. (One convenience store did try to charge me extra for recycled bottle charge but when I actually brought the bottles back plus others she quickly stopped doing that.) English is not a strong suite for most of the staff but they will go out of there way to make everything right. The place could surely use a furniture/mattress/maintenance overhaul but pretty clean.

Room Tip: Brush up on your Spanish but everything else we be just fine

Not the MOST comfortable bed in the world, but it was just for one night, and otherwise everything was great!! Friendly, close to bus station, clean, good complimentary breakfast, working wifi and air conditioning. I would stay there again. I booked directly with hotel to avoid extra booking fees; payment in cash only upon arrival.

We stayed there two nights and would even give the hotel an excellent opinion if not the pricing system (cash only). Maybe the price could be a bit lower. Hotel is very well located, walking distance from the bus terminal (doable even with your luggage), close to restaurants and shops. Staff is friendly, there is a small swimming pool in the hotel, but we had no time to use it. Rooms are clean, ours was equipped with microwave, kettle, corkscrew (very helpful), fridge, dining table, etc. breakfasts are similar to other Argentinian breakfasts, but also fresh fruits are served. We were communicating with the staff in Spanish, so cannot tell whether English is sufficient.

There are two parts to the hotel and we stayed in the hotel, with the swimming pool in the other part in the next street. We had the room oppersite reception were breakfast was taken but this was no problem for us at all. The staff, especially Stephania were kind and helpful at all times. The breakfast was good, we would happily return here. We also got a better deal by paying the hotel and not booking through a website.
