Loved my stay at Hostel Bambu. Great central location and close to bus terminal, restaurants and supermarket. Hostel is clean, simple but good breakfast and awesome staff. Staff (especially Jimmy the bartender) was so welcoming and helpful with ideas for what to do.

We can not recommend this hotel enough! The girl at the front desk, Danielle, is super helpful and friendly, and we had an unforgettable evening with bartender Jimmy - who not only makes killer caipirinha's, but also invited us to one of the most delicious asado's we've had. Truly generous, social and warm people - thank you all so much!

This is a small hosel offering comfortable rooms at a decent price. It is located close to the entrance to Tortuga Playa and directly above some public tennis and basketball courts. Sabastian and his staff were very responsive when we had needs, the rooms are spacious and clean, it is very quiet (with the delightful exception of children´s laughter in the evenings),the showers work well, and there is recently installed quiet air conditioning. There are kitchenettes but no facility for cooking, other than to boil water. Interestingly, much of the architecture is similar to Casa Pueblo in Uruguay.

This is a good little hostel in a nice location. Wifi is reasonable but not in all rooms. Breakfast was ok, comfy beds, good night's sleep. Most importantly the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good stay wish I could have stayed longer

We stayed one night in a private room on our whirlwind trip to Iguazu. The room was cosy with a small private bathroom. No towels are provided, but are available for a small extra cost.

The hostel is in a great location for the bus station. We were under the impression there was a pool, however there is not. Guests are able to use the pool at a 'sister hostel', but we didn't bother.

There is a reasonable sized communal kitchen with one cooker. Free wi-fi is available throughout. Breakfast is the usual - bread, jam, coffee, fruit. There is an onsite bar, but we didn't drink there having gone into town instead. We were able to leave our luggage at check out & pick up later in the day. We were also able to have a shower before catching our bus - given Iguazu is a very humid place & we'd been walking around the falls all day; a shower was welcome.

This hostel is one of the more expensive we stayed in throughout South America, but it seems to be the case for Iguazu.

we were two persons and arrived too tired to check the bed: our mistake. At 02.30 in the night we began to feel bedbugs: the bed was infested with them, one was so huge with our blood that it could hardly move.
We called the guy from the hostel and he discovered many more. It was too late in the night to go elsewhere. He offered us a free room -with toilet- in a new building of the hostel, without bedbugs. IN the morning we tried to get out money back for the 2 nights we had already paid but the manager told the employees by phone he would not agree. Then we asked to stay a third night for free, he finally agreed.
Another big minus: the breakfast, a few old breads, too poor to be mentioned.
And: no free towels, no swimming-pool. The staff was watching all day TV. Wifi sucks. A place to never go back.

Room Tip: the bedbugs were in the main building

A really great place to stay when visiting Iguazu falls! We stayed for 2 nights, the room was great and good value, the staff were helpful and made great caprihinas at the bar. Close to town and the bus station, you can't go wrong!
