During my first visit to Argentina, we ate around various places near the hotel my friends and I were staying at. Although good food was abundant, I always enjoyed and wanted to try something with a minimalist presentation and beautiful design and so that’s why their menu stood out. In fact, I ended up going back there the next day to try their pasta! Being a steak-lover, the first night I ordered their fillet mignon with red wine. I had red wine on the side and it was presented beautifully (presentation is important) just outside the restaurant. The beautiful weather coupled with wine and the medium-rare tender steak was a perfect way to end my first day in the city (and indeed the country). I had a chat with a wonderful server there who gave me advice on what to do the following day around town. I ended up staying for dinner with my friends for a few hours until we decided to head back into the hotel to catch up on sleep. However, I felt the atmosphere was simply great enough and decided to return the next day to try their pasta. On my second return, I ordered Spaghetti with garlic, oil and red pepper and had white wine for the side. Like the night before, it was splendid. One thing I love about their short menu is that I know the chefs prepare the food with great care that comes from many years of experience. That’s evident not only in the presentation, but the taste of the food. It was simply delicious! Again, coupled with the wonderful atmosphere, weather, and service, I really enjoyed my time there. I definitely plan on going again next time I visit!
