We really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend. Enrique (the owner) was a wealth of information about the Falls and arranged for our park excursion and his wife even acted as our taxi driver to the airport when we left.
Breakfast was great with a whole variety of freshly baked breads and cakes and the fresh fruit was really appreciated after many days in other places with only bread and jam for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Rooms are big, clean and quite. The family who runs the hotel is very nice. They gave us some usefull tips and they were willing to bring us everywhere (for a good price). It is nearby the city center (10 minutes walk). Wifi is good.

Enrique is a fantastic host! We made a mistake with our booking on Booking.com (wrong dates) and would have been out of pocket if Enrique hadn't have been so generous to help us out - thanks Enrique! He put us up in one of the apartments which was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, kitchen and great air conditioning. The breakfasts here were lovely with a good selection of cakes, breads, fruit etc. There is a pool table in the communal area and a little 'park' with a nice pool, chairs and hammocks to relax in. It's in a quiet area just 10 minutes walk into town or in the other direction to the 3 frontiers monument. There is a small corner shop just across the road. Security is excellent, although the town seemed very safe anyway. Enrique's family also have a taxi business - his son in law took us across the border to Brazil and made the whole process very easy and at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend this place - we felt so at home we extended our stay a couple of days.

We were very happy with this hotel. It is a small family run place and the owner is a very nice man who obviously takes great pride in the place. Our room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and a big dining area if you wanted to stay in there. The place had wifi and a great pool as well. This place had shops within a 1 minute walk and is about 5 - 10 minute walk from an area with lots of restaurants, bars, pharmacies, shops, et cetera. We noticed that it was significantly cheaper than a lot of hotels around there and couldn't believe the value for money.

The owner can arrange other things for you, such as boat rides at the falls or transfers. His son in law drove us to the Brazilian side of the falls, which worked well. He showed up on time, had a nice car and handled all the immigration at the border for us.

We contacted Enrique from our hotel on the Brazil side and he sent Marcella for a seamless pickup - great vehicle, spotless, actual working seatbelts (go on laugh... they're rarer than you'd think). He went into the Brazil border point and got us stamped out then it was a quick drive through heading into Argentina. The guesthouse itself shows immense effort in trying to provide everything - air conditioning, hot shower, clean room (we had a triple, which suited us as a couple). You are not in a wealthy town - so realise even though you can't get hot water from your basin, the fact you have a clean room and running water is probably pretty impressive. If you get a fine day the pool looked very nice. The Breakfast Room/ Common area has a microwave and there was a fridge in the room for drinks (supermarket at the end of the road). Easy walk to the viewpoint for the 3 frontiers. Easy walk to the bus for the Falls. Breakfast nice - some fruit, lots of baked goods and cakes - sometimes boiled eggs sometimes an omelette. Only comment is it would make more sense to cook something to order instead of putting out lots and lots of baked things just for two people... Freshness was suffering by day three... Had a nice airport transfer by Enrique's wife when we left. We stayed 3 nights and it was enough. At this time of year the humidity, albeit cool, hangs everywhere in Iguassu and everything you own and the guesthouse itself will end up feeling damp. They were very keen to book us on excursions and tours etc, but if you just want to see the falls, get thee to the bus stop!

Room Tip: We were in "Rosas" - the triple room. Good for some space and you can put your bags on th...

We stayed here for one night and could not have felt more welcomed! Enrique was so helpful, polite did his very best to make sure we had everything we needed, despite the fact that our Spanish and his English were minimal! He also arranged a pick up from the airport and a transfer to Brazil with the very friendly and helpful taxi driver Marcelo, taking all the transport stress out of our stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location very handy to town centre, buses easy to catch to the falls at the end of the road.

Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Included fruit, fresh fruit juice, breads (incl wholemeal!), croissants/medialunas, jams, yogurt and cereal.

Overall, a great choice for the short stay in Iguazu.
