We stayed here because of the great reviews on tripadvisor and it did not disappoint. The location of the B&B is right in the middle of town. It's about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop (7.50 pesos to the falls) and 10 minutes to where all the restaurants are.

John, the owner, is a great host. He does drinks and finger foods (free!) at 7pm every night that we never missed. It's a really good opportunity to meet the other guests and share stories about the day's adventures. We would usually stay for a few rounds then walk to dinner.

For breakfast, toast, a variety of jams, fruit, coffee and tea are served. John would check in with us to see if we needed any help with ideas, transportation, etc.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We slept very well after exploring the falls. It was winter when we visited and the heater kept us warm. A couple of things to note. First, there's no TV in the room, which wasn't an issue for us. The second thing is while there is free wifi, it doesn't reach to the rooms but the patio and garden area are so nice you will not want to lounge anywhere else.

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it highly. It's great value for money.

The B and B is delightfully situated (and the Falls are very easy to access from here) , the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and John the host provides delicious snacks and cocktails in the evenings. John is a great character who went out of his way to be helpful, and organised last-minute accommodation for the 4 of us in one room when at the last minute our late flight was cancelled due to volcanic ash. He also organised pickups and dropoffs for the airport and would advise and help organise whatever trips the guests wanted. His staff were very solicitous also. All in all, highly recommended.

My husband and I visited Iguazu on a side trip from Buenos Aires in mid February. John and his staff were always very gracious and attentive. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, quiet, up-to-date and it had AC. The bathroom was very updated and everything was very clean. The location of the B&B was good - walking distance from restaurants and little shops.

John's driver picked us up at the airport, as arranged, and then John joined us in the taxi and showed us around town. He also helped us in reserving a driver to see the Falls from the Brazilian side, it cost about $40. The driver was very friendly and he stopped at a Brazilian restaurant, churrasqueria, to allow us to eat lunch since we were starving.

The following day we went to see the Falls from the Argentina side. We took the bus, the bus stop was just around the corner from the B&B. It was no more than a 1/2 hour ride and was less than $2/pp. I recommend getting to the popular site, Garganta del Diablo, early since it will get very packed. That was our first stop and then we wondered to the other falls.

The breakfast was a bit simple but it got us through the morning. We had offerings of fresh fruit, coffee, tea, toast, home made jellies/jams. I would have liked some sort of protein but I survived. We also enjoyed the "happy hour" at 6pm. The staff made us caipiroskas and empanaditas and some other appetizer that I can't recall. All was very nice, especially because we were able to socialize with John and the other guests. Afterwards, we headed out to restaurants recommended by John, both were very good.

I highly recommend The Secret Garden. Way better than staying in any fancy-schmanzy hotel and you can't beat the price. I love the special attention that one gets at B&Bs.

Enjoy Iguazu. You can't take enough pictures!

This is a 3 room band b, run by John, a guy of Indian origin who has travelled a lot, literally and metaphorically, over the course of his life. the rooms are quite comfortable and of a good size; the shower works well. John is generous with his time and hospitality, providing free drinks for his guests each evening, and stimulating conversation. John is a photographer by profession; in winter, breakfast and drinks take place in his photographic studio, which must be an unusual venue for such purposes. John was kind, helpful, and efficient when we and other guests had flights cancelled as a consequence of the chilean ash cloud closing Buenos Aires airport. this is not a place for someone who wants a bland, corporate style hotel - it is individual and quirky in a nice way

We had to take the bus to get to Iguazu because the chilean volcano closed the airport. We were a day late in arriving but John picked us up at the bus station, gave us a quick tour of the town and feed us breakfast before we headed off to the falls. In the evening he sat and chatted with us over cocktails and appetizers. We had the best night sleep in our quiet, warm and clean room. Highly recommended!
