Had another great lunch today at the Italian grocer in Mesa. I brought along a friend from Europe who spends a lot of time in Italy and she really enjoyed the lunch as well. She said it was just like being back in Italy. We both had sandwiches and gelato for dessert. Both of us hope to return very, very soon.

We found this place quite by accident, but the third and fourth times here were no accident. This is not a good place to be driving by when you are hungry. The Gelato here is just like that we've had in Italy. Excellent! The owners, Italians, are friendly and accommodating. It is a small, quaint place with limited seating inside, and some seating outside. So, with Gelato on one side, and with imported Italian groceries and delicatessen on the other, you can end up having a great Italian experience right there in Mesa. Bon Appetito...

We have really enjoyed Dolce Vita Gelato for several years and now the Italian owners have added this Italian Deli /Grocer as well. We stopped in with my friends for a quick lunch & gelato. The salads were superb & came with a bread basket. The salads were seasoned just right. We'll be back to try some of the other offerings of this eatery. The ravioli looks amazing!

This is a small place with few tables, but with three different services. They produce and sale Italian Gelato (a particular healthier type of ice-cream); They have and Italian grocer delicatessen with includes many cheeses, prosciutto, salamis etc. imported directly from Italy; and they act also as a restaurant with sandwiches, antipasti, and some pastas.
The owners and servers are Italians and they speak Italian. Everything is excellent and you can find some Italian cheeses that you do not find anywhere else.
Is a nice experience to visit this place, both if you want to buy something to enjoy after at your home or if you want to enjoy their gelato or limited restaurant menu. You will feel like you are in Italy. Personally I already return there many times.

After being gone for a few months I went back again today. Just as good if not better! I had a wonderful sandwich today and some gelato for dessert. Next time I'm going for an evening meal. The pasta specials looked awesome. Pumpkin ravioli is what I would order next time! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!!
