I've spend 3 nights in this hotel and i'm happy i chose it as a place to stay during my vacation. It's location is very good - close to the center and yet not in a crowded area. As someone who spends most of her time all year long in hotels around the world (for work not pleasure though), I can definitely say it's a good hotel - The room i got was clean, quite, and very specious with a king size bad. There is a good wifi connection, cable TV, safe etc.
Breakfast is a buffet of mostly sweet pastries, but you can also get yourself a toast with cheese or ham.
If you are used to breakfast that has a variety of fruits, vegetables, eggs etc. you will be disappointed and not only here but in most places in Argentina as I understood.
The good thing was that they start really early every day so you can have something before you leave on a daily trip.
The restaurant in the hotel is considered to be the best place to eat in Salta - so you don't have to search too much to find a place for dining. It's not the best restaurant that i have been to but it does serve good tasty food.
To sum it up - good hotel and not too expensive.

Spent one night at the hotel...it was well located and price was reasonable when booking directly by phone..included parking and breakfast and taxes. The breakfast had real orange juice, which was a change of the diluted stuff at the Casa Real. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit eighty'ish but clean with king size beds.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a room with a proper window....our room had no window (well it had a 'window'...

We spent four nights in this fine hotel with great location, It is no more than seven minutes walk from the center. The hotel has no luxuries but it does everything it promises. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The bathroom is also spacious. The breakfast buffet could be a little better. Very friendly staff to answer our questions. It provides high speed wi-fi without any charge. A good budget hotel to enjoy this fantastic city.

Room Tip: Try to get the front rooms in order to avoid ventilation sounds.

The Hotel is situated close by the city center. Its only a five minute walk.

The hotel has seen better days. Its l a littel old. There are romms without a window, and thats a non go for this price. Generaly the rooms are big as well as the bed. The bathroom is nice and clean. The Spa area was not open during my stay.

Stuff is just as friendly as they have to be.

I would not recomend the hotel, as i saw other places in salta.

The hotel is in a good position and the staff friendly. The rooms are sufficient but very noisy due to the ventilation that goes on automatically during the night. But the breakfast has been disgusting: only sweets and cakes of poor quality, coffee was undrinkabke. I have asked for eggs and, even if I had to pay an extra for them, I have receved them on the first morning. On the second morning they have answered me "we don't have eggs" (What??? A kitchen of a restaurant without eggs???) Then I have asked for fruits and they had only 1 APPLE!! Only 1!!! Sorry but this is not a 4 stars hotel. After my compliances, I had breakfast outside the hotel

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The room was excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We ate lunch only in the restaurant which was really good. I had no complaints whatsoever with this hotel. There is not a swimming pool, but a lovely spa bath & gym.

We stayed at the Almeria Hotel two nights in june. The hotel was advertised as a 4 star hotel, but based on the condition of the rooms I would give it 2 star. The smell of our room was very strong and came from the kitchen (cheap burnt oil). Room was extremely small, big enough for the bed and the tv. We could not sleep at nights because of the loud noise of people talking and screaming outside our room. The hallways carpet was filthy. The walls and doors of the room were beat up and had stains. This was the worse hotel we stayed in Argentina.
