We didn't planned to stay in Esquel, but it was getting dark, we were tired... At the local tourism office they recommended us this small hostel, and it was a good choice.
Situated on a hill, not exactly in the centre of Esquel, it's quiet and has a great view of the town (specially in summer nights).
Breakfast is Ok, and has a good relation price-quality. Wi Fi worked very good while being there. A good choice if you decide to visit the Los Alerces National Park (don't miss it).
